It went very well. Minor issues. Moved during a major storm. Truck leaked and a few of my couch cushions got wet. They dried by the next day without a stain. They offered to have them dry cleaned if there were any issues which there weren't. Very efficient and worked fast. Things arrived without damage as far as I can tell.

Quickly and efficiently.

Four-man crew showed up exactly when scheduled. I showed them first what was going to consignment, so those items would go into the truck first. They worked efficiently with my packed boxes and wrapping furniture with drawers. All of the boxes and furniture had to be moved down a staircase, and most of it had to be taken down a staircase at the new house. The crew moved everything quite well, including a filled traveling trunk and a piano. The only thing that I was concerned about was seeing a box on too of another box marked Fragile because it was filled with china. Fortunately, nothing was broken. Otherwise, I thought they did a great job. The process started a month prior with a visit from a and quot;surveyorand quot; who went over what I was moving, what I wanted consigned, and moving tips. This process was very helpful, and it increased my confidence that all would go well. The surveyor explained that the charge would start when the crew left the place of business in Lannon, and would go up to the return to Lannon. The crew head sat down with me at the end if the move to go over the bill, and the consignment list. I felt everything was handled very professionally and efficiently, and I would recommend this company to others.

They were prompt and on time, professional, and careful to not damage anything. Three men and a truck - one did all the packing of the kitchen things, while the other 2 moved furniture, etc into truck. The move was complete from start to finish at the new apt in about 5 hrs - about what I expected from the initial quote the company gave me. I did most of the packing myself and unpacked at the new location. This helped to save on the cost, but they would have provided full service if requested.

The surveyor was very punctual and pleasant to work with. After surveying my whole place and belongings, he gave me an estimate of moving charges and written information with packing tips. He also confirmed with the company as to taking the items I wanted them to take to their consignment shop, a very important point for me. A few days after our meeting, I received a confirmation of the moving day with all pertinent information. So far, I'm very happy that I decided to go with Universal Services.

Movers (4) worked very hard and took very good care of my things---packing and padding everything with great care and efficiency. This is the most stress free move I have ever had---and I am someone that has moved alot. I would most definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. No other movers I have had---and they are on Angies list---comes even close to this company and their crew. The office staff is also very polite and helpful. I rescheduled several times and was never treatly with impatience or rudeness---quite the opposite. They were understanding and accommodating.

They just did a spectacular job. They were very reasonable. I had a bunch of stuff in my house. They carried all the boxes and did it in a quick and efficient way. They were able to get more into that little 8X8X16 ft trailer than I ever could have. They were very encouraging and polite. They were wonderful. I will use them in the future.

Universal was quick and accurate with their estimate. Employees were courteous, fast(5 hours start to finish) and took great care with our belongings. This was the only move I have been a part of where nothing was broken or damaged. I recommend them to anyone I know that is moving.

Punctual, efficient, and pleasant.

The original phone call was handled in a very professional manner with up front costs and method of doing business explained fully. The estimator came out to my mom's house as scheduled. He was very nice, polite and professional. He took the information and a letter came in a few days with the scheduled info confirming the time and date of the move. The three movers arrived right on time. They worked very efficiently and took extremely good care of every piece of furniture. This moving crew did the best job of loading and unloading furniture that I have every experienced. I have several times moved cross country and locally. They were by far the best I have seen.

We thought there were going to be 2 movers, but there were 3. They worked constantly and were careful with the furniture and boxes. They put everything exactly where we wanted it to go. They completed the task within the timeframe they estimated. They were there promptly and were kind and courteous.

On time pick-up and set-up. Quality job.
