We are so happy we hired Dennis for our job! It started as a simple quote for removing some excess dirt we had, and he pointed out we "might as well put him to work while he's there". As a next step in our project, we also needed an area churned up/tilled. He showed up with a dump truck and his skid steer. Once he was done hauling the dirt away, he worked for about another half hour churning up the remaining area with his skid steer - he clearly has a lot of experience!! He was working the machine like it was an extension of his hands, went right up to our fence, landscaping rocks, and bushes, and never touched any of them. Very high quality and experienced work, definitely recommend him! We'll be hiring him again for our next project.

I found Dennis through Angie's list and his ratings were excellent. Thank you to other Angie's members for your reviews of this business so I was able to find and use it. Dennis came to my site within a day of me contacting him which I really appreciated because I was getting up to a deadline that the building was to start and it was in jeapardy if I didn't have the pad prepared. Dennis was able to work me into his schedule on short notice and get started right away. Dennis has many years experience in both excavating and concrete so that knowledge is valuable as he does the excavating work. Dennis trucked in the gravel needed with his own truck and was very efficient at it. In short, I would highly recommend Dennis. He's a straight shooter who says it like it is and knows his craft well. If you have excavating work that needs to be done he's the guy you want to have do it!

I like Dennis. He did a good job for me and was very responsive. I would use him again for other projects involving excavation, hauling, concrete and other jobs where his dump truck and Bobcat can come to bear.

Dennis was amazingly responsive. I called around noon while he was on another job. He called me back within the hour that he promised he would. He came out the same day to give me a quote. I could tell right away that he was my guy. He's a one man show but you could tell that he was honest and knew what he was talking about. His price seemed reasonable and I agreed to have the work done. I asked him when we could schedule it to be done, and he said he was busy the next few days but and quot;How about today? There's enough daylight left for me to get the job done just before it turns dark.and quot; I agreed. About an hour and half later he showed up with his dump truck loaded to the top with gravel and his bobcat. He was quick and the job was done before my wife got home from work. From my first call to the completion of the job took 5 hours tops! Amazing! If you want quality work done fast and at a good price, be sure to give Dennis a call!

Having recently moved, we reached out to Dennis to discuss options to repair/ redo the driveway to our new house which is fairly steep and had been neglected over the last few years. Dennis returned my call promptly and was very upfront regarding his capabilities and prices. Upon discussing our issue(s), Dennis came out and took a look at our driveway at no cost. After review, we discussed two options and Dennis gave detailed explanations on the pros and cons of each option. Once we chose the option we felt would work better for us, Dennis came out to perform the work as scheduled. Dennis dug up the old driveway/ hardpack and installed and compacted the new traffic bond. I have to say, I was expecting quality work and I was not disappointed. The new driveway was a 100% improvement over the old, rutted, disintegrating surface. I would like to note that I am writing this review at the end of December, 2013, and the driveway has gone through two snow storms and two plowing sessions. As near as I can tell, the surface that Dennis installed is holding up well to the abuse so far, and is a good indication of the quality of work performed. Also, considering the driveway is relatively steeply pitched, I have been pleased with the extremely minimal washout we experienced during the late summer/ fall rains. I would recommend Dennis to anyone that is looking for quality, reasonably priced driveway work.

Dennis did a great job fixing up our 120 ft gravel driveway. I wish I had taken a 'before' photo now. When he stopped by for the estimate (on a Sunday no less), he talked to us to get a good understanding of what we needed and what we wanted. He took the time to fully understand the job at hand. And we couldn't be happier with the result. He's very passionate about doing the job right and listening to the needs of the customer. Something you don't see so much anymore. I think some of them could take some lessons from Dennis. Customer service goes a long way in making sure the customer gets what they're looking for and making them happy. Which ultimately makes for repeat business and good word of mouth. Like here on Angie's List.

The job finshed a looked great. Using his suggestions I was able to reduce time and labor on two other projects I was doing, even though they did not include Dennis excpet to haul materials. He was punctual, excpetionally hard working, and very helpful. The finished products all look great and we are enjoying them.

Dennis was very knowledgable and easy to work with. He listened to my goals and them made suggestions that would help. I assisted with the work, and he was very flexible. Overall it was a great experience and I am very happy with the result.

Dennis was amazed that i could find out about him from someone's blog. But in the couple weeks since I initially called him and when I was finally ready for him, he said he had heard from quite a few people from the blog. I was very happy with Dennis, his work , his attitude and how important his sand was to him. (He went in great detail about how he cleans his truck every night so whatever he delivers is not contaminated by anything else).
