The Lake Mills Vet Clinic team create an environment that welcomes you and your pets, and creates a stress free visit from the moment you enter the clinic. During this routine check-up we realized that our Black Lab Mix had gained more weight than we realized during the last year. As Dr. Stork performed a thorough exam and asked questions about her food and activity levels, and we recognized subtle changes in her personality, he recommended we perform a simple blood test to check for underlying medical issues. A few days later, the results came back and showed that she has an underactive thyroid. Dr. Stork prescribed a medication in a form that is easy to administer and it was amazing how quickly our dog improved. Not only did she start shedding pounds, her energy increased, she seemed to move easier and her personality was back to normal. Dr. Stork's thorough exam, probing questions and diagnostic skills resulted in a quick resolution to the medical concern.
Also during this visit, the exceptional Veterinary Technicians spent extra time with me demonstrating techniques I can use at home to reduce the stress and anxiety of nail clipping sessions with both dogs. This training session has helped save money by allowing me to perform these grooming activities at home and turned what once was a traumatic experience for me and the dogs into a more pleasant activity.

They're very personable with the animals. They are very responsive and punctual for my appointments with them.

I like Lake Mills Veterinarian Clinic because they are supportive of the RAW diet I have my dogs on. My pets always receive a thorough check up there. The doctor actually calls me to ask how my dogs are doing if they are sick. I am very satisfied with the care we receive.
