Received very good service from this company. Worked with Jim, who was great to work with, usually available by phone, or if not would call back promptly. He was the only 1 of the 4 contractors that I called who answered or returned calls consistently. He was right on time as promised to assess the job, and gave accurate information about the problem and proposed repair. Also, he was instrumental in getting warranty service from the manufacturer, which I had not even thought of pursuing. It took a few weeks to work out the warranty details and get the window in stock, but he kept me up to date several times on progress. The work was done in a professional fashion with disposal of the old window and no outside mess left behind. I thought the price was very fair.
Also, I forgot to mention, when the old skylight started to leak, they were very quick to come out and get it temporarily caulked, which held for several months until the replacement was done.
My only issue is, they did not call before arriving to do the installation, but just showed up one morning and got to work. Which is not a big deal except if I had known when they were coming I would have taken the interior sun shade off. As is turned out, some minor dust and debris accumulated on the sun shade which was a bit tricky to vacuum off.
I am very happy with this job by Ledegar. Comparing with other contractors I have consulted or worked with, this interaction was one of the best.

The inspection for the estimate was thorough.  Roof was inspected and the attic from the inside as well.  No other contractor looked in the attic.  The other company we were seriously considering gave an estimate just for reshingling the roof.  Ledegar's also quoted for correcting ventilation problems that were causing problems for our roof.  We already notice a difference in how seldom the air conditioner is running.
They arrived at 7AM on the morning they said they would, and were done in 2 and a half days.  There was not so much as a scrap of debris left on our property when they were done...they went over every inch several times.   The communication with us was always prompt and professional.  We are very pleased with the work done and our entire experience with this company. 

When I called for an explaination they were very rude and dismissive.  Initially came out to repair separation between 2 strips of rubber.  Advised me to replace full length and said it should only be a couple hundred more.  When they gave me the new quote it was much, much higher and I was told the owner had to also review it.  It went up another $100 or so from there.  When I asked why the huge jump from the initial price I was told it would take 2 guys at least 4 hours to do the repair.  When the repair was done it was 1 guy in less than 1 hour.  I contacted the BBB and received a call from the owner right away.  Crummy way to treat people.

- they refused to pay for the fix. Overall, one of the worst contractors in the area. I refuse to use them and would not recommend them to anyone, except an enemy.

They listened to what we wanted and they did a great job of installing the two turbine roof vents over the garage.  We were kept informed of when the work waw going to be done and they were on time and when finished the worker noticed a coouple fo shingles that were starting to curl and he took care of that too, while he was on the roof.  He cleaned up the site and took the debrie away.  Very professional attitude.

My overall experience with them was excellent. The price is high, but it's quality work, and they stand behind what they do. If they mess something up, they take care of it right away. They broke my window, and the next day the glass company was there to measure it up, and they replaced it. They're the only company I would go with.

The initial rubber membrane installation was performed on Friday and went according to plan. I assumed they were finished, but they appeared again on Monday morning to install walkway pads, which we did not order. When I told them we did not order the pads they asked me to "get my contract." When I couldn't immediately find it they said to "think about it" and call them when I had made a decision. I did find the contract and it did NOT specify walkway pads. Their mistake. This error could have cost us an additional $600. They did not apologize. Next, they removed some of our vinyl siding and left 10-12 inches of black rubber exposed above our sunroom. When I called the next week to ask why they had removed so much of the siding, the representative was incredbily rude and treated me terribly. I now understand that the rubber membrane must extend 12 inches up the wall from the deck, but I still think they could have been more conscientious about the overall look of their work. Plus, if they had explained the process more thoroughly, I would not have been so surprised to see the unsightly black rubber on the side of our house. The solution we ultimately agreed to was for Ledegar to install a strip of white counterflashing. They showed up SIX WEEKS later to finish the job. And as a final insult, their final work roofer left whitish, chalky streaks all over the "new" rubber. Further, the representative we worked with only answers his phone on Monday mornings and is very slow about returning calls.
