bill was $600. more than quote. turns out they charged me $600. in labor travel costs to come to my house (approximately 8 miles) total of 5 times. the final bill I received wasn't even broken down, just a dollar amount. I had to call to ask what the bill was for. When I questioned the difference from the quote I received the lady said take $100 off if you want. I didn't, I paid my bill but I will never recommend or hire them again. They repaired a crack on my living room wall and 6 months later the crack is gone but when light hits it right you can see the repair spot. total waste of money. the ceiling repair in the basement is average quality. The workers never removed shoes or put shoe covers on instead just walk through the house each time. They texture guys came to spray texture the final day and they just showed up unannounced, I had no idea they were coming.

"[Member Name Removed]'s job work order states this. Water Damage in Basement ceiling. Patch in wall living room wall. Hang tape texture . T & M $ 75.00 per man hour. There is no final amount on the work order. The crack is gone. It takes many trips to complete a drywall project because of dry time. Not sure why he waited so long to respond. We offered to lower the bill be he choose to accept the amount and paid so we felt all was good."

STAY AWAY (+) the workers were very nice and moved along quickly to keep the project going (-) -made unilateral decisions without speaking to the customers which impacted cost (to the tune of +$10,000) and outcome (ended up paying for a redo) -Don (owner) swore at customers in their own home -Don (owner) talked about customer negatively due to him believing she was not around (he was on speaker phone) -did not take responsibility for errors made even though they agreed there were errors -faulted the customer for not being home through the entire project to make sure nothing unwanted happened (sorry, we have jobs) -did not make phone calls when they ran into issues just decided without home owners -once project was in need of fixing and was agreed on by all parties to fix it(with a price and start date), BAILED on the project and simply came to get their materials and left

They did a nice job and the price was great. We did have a delay prior to finishing the project because they got really busy.

Responded to job site quick, did good work, but way over priced for small hole repair.  Took two guys to repair small hole, and charged labor for both, on both trips back to finish.

Response from Earley Drywall & Construction
"The hole was bigger then a softball. It was caused by water damage. We had to cut out the damaged rock and replace it. Materials to complete a job correctly included sheet rock, plastic, taping mud, screws, perfa tape, masking tape and texture. Our goal is to do a job correctly in a clean and professional way. This was a rush job and we jumped right in and got the job completed."

I received a prompt response to my request for an estimate - Workers came when I was told and as promised - finished job in very little time and left no mess at all. everything was done in a professional manner and the finished ceiling was very well done. I would call on them again for any other drywall jobs.

They did a really nice job. They were in and out when they said they would be and walls look great. They came through recommendations and also fixed the water spot that we had. So they were just great.

"We appreciate your recommendation and business. Thank you."

These guys are fast, prompt, pleasant to work around and while they aren't the cheapest in town they are worth every penny spent.they also came in 150.00 under budget, a nice little bonus for me.
