GREAT! Martha, the loan agent, turned everything around immediately and was very professional. She suggested loan products to us, and was able to give us quotes on loan terms/down payments/interest rates/etc so that we could make the best decision for our financial situation.
In the end we turned out with a 15 year fixed rate loan, and we put a bit more down payment but ended up with less to pay in total at closing as the loan had so little fees attached to it - so remember that a low down payment isn't always the least cash needed at closing ;> so we got a better interest rate, smaller life of loan, lower interest rate AND paid less at closing than our previous mortgage broker.
we moved to Altra with only 3-4 weeks before closing, and they turned it all around and made the closing commitment anyway. Everything was smooth and professional and great.
I would recommend Martha and Altra to anyone looking for a new or refinance mortgage, in fact I have already done so!
