Paul and his assistant responded right away when I contacted him both times. The first job turned out to be more dangerous than anticipated because of very aggressive squirrels, one of which bit Paul on the finger while he was repairing the hole in the attic rafter. In addition, when Paul pulled off the damaged rafter on the roof line, he uncovered a huge wasp's nest. The second job when Paul repaired the second floor porch was frustrating because the squirrel that had caused the damage came back after Paul left the first day and made a new hole where the previous hole had been. Throughout the whole process, Paul and his assistant remained very upbeat despite the problems, completed the work in a way that exceeded my expectations, completed the work very quickly all the while being very kind and professional. The basement ceiling not only looks great, Paul also insulated it from the unheated porch above. I am so impressed with Paul Driessen and recommend him to anyone who needs a carpenter.
