frustrated with communication.....hired yutka 5 years ago, perfect job and communication. This time horrible communication, never kept me updated and if they did it was wrong and I am stuck waiting and to keep calling back...I even was changing my own appts for this and they would not show. They would say you don't have to be there , well glad I was or I would not have the right amount of privacy on the fence that I wanted...also a couple cracked boards....not worth calling them back as they will say they are coming and they don't... office communication is absolutely the worse this time around....and then a month later I get a bill saying they never got my payment!....seriously???? again never got the first bill they said they sent! I don't think its the guys installing the fences its coming from the office.

The builders themselves were on time and busted hump getting the work done. It took them longer then expected but I think the ground was rockier then they had expected. Fit and finish is good with the exception of the corners. From outside of the yard, there are gaps where the corners should meet. I'll probably just fix it myself. It doesn't effect function, just looks like crap. As far as the office staff, they seem to mix things up. Got the install days mixed up a couple of times (even had to send the builders away as our permit hadn't come through yet) and then to top it off, they charged the second half of the payment to the wrong account causing all sort of turmoil financially. In their defence (for the install date mix up, not the payment) I understand that the normal scheduler was out of the office that week, so the "B" squad was probably doing their best to step up and fill in. I did find them through Home Depot, so maybe that's part of the problem, but I dealt with Yutka directly for everything so I hold them ultimately responsible. They've been around for a long time and have a good rating from the BBB, I'd recommend contacting them directly and not using Hope Depot as a middle man, maybe you'll have better luck. I gave price an "N/A" because I didn't solicit any other quotes, so I don't know how they stood up. The price seemed reasonable to me and they had a good reputation. Quality would have been an "A" had they properly finished the corners of the fence, and the "C" is based on dealing with the office staff. Other then then that, I would have given straight "A's" across the board.
