Cost show is labor only .. we paid for all materials. Work product was excellent but we job was never completed. There was some trim work needed on a built in that Coy had promised to come back twice to complete but did not. We ended up having to complete it ourselves. While the work product itself was excellent we did see issues in the job getting done in the time frame originally stated. Scope was increased and time frame adjusted out to account for additional scope but job was still not completed in time frame stated.
In addition to the original job we also hired Coy to do some work on the bathroom at my Mother's house. It was supposed to be just a fix to a couple of tiles in the bathtub surround and installing a toilet. It was determined that the sub floor was bad so that was also going to need to be replaced and subsequently tile replaced. Our mistake was not asking for a full estimate at that point. When the job was completed it ran $1400 far more than we had anticipated. Our big mistake for not asking for a number up front and again this job was not finished. Coy needed to wait for grouting by the bathtub until after the bathtub was refinished. He promised he would come back and complete the job but never did. Again this fell to us to complete. The workmanship was excellent and he handled changes that were made on both jobs with ease. Unfortunately it was the lack of response to complete the job and not providing a firm estimate on the second job that has made us decide not to hire him for future projects.

Overall we were very happy with not only the quality of the work but the cleanliness. I was really dreading when the drywall work was going to be done....just waiting for the drywall dust mess. Fortunately when I came home from work each day everything was very clean. With the exception of seeing the changes as they were made you could not tell they had been there working. Even my exterior doors were wiped down the days they worked on the drywall. We have had other workers in and out in the past and have never seen anyone that cleaned up so well after themselves.
