Signature Home Improvements

From start to finish Rhian maintained excellent communications. He listened to our plan designs, made some great recommendations, resolved a few issues that came up during the project, and ended up finishing the job on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier with both the process and the end result. We were so happy with Rhian's work that we brought him back to remodel the guest bath. Once again, he did a great job. Dealing with Rhian was very nice! He listened to our concerns, and told us exactly what he was going to do and how he would proceed. He keeps the job site extremely CLEAN! Unless you saw the scaffolding and dumpster, you'd never know it was a work site. Rhian was there when he said he would be. I have a classic car that was in the garage and he called first to ask me to please remove it from the garage and then again the next day to verify it wasn't in the garage. ( We don't have a ceiling in the garage) His concern and attention to detail was great! I'm very happy with the work done and I would recommend Rhian and Signature Home Improvement highly!

Rhian gave us a free estimate for the installation of a new light fixture, which would require a new electrical hookup and switch. His service was courteous, prompt and reliable. The final bill was $40 less than the original estimate, and we were very pleased with the work.

Our daughter bought a house that needed much of it's lighting upgraded from circa 1950 fixtures, plus it needed an ill functioning bathroom light/fan replaced. We decided to also have Signature Home Improvements replace two fluorescent lighting fixtures in our house with new track and incandescent lighting. Additionally, we had SHI quote on two outside projects for the spring.
Rhian Daniels is excellent. He went to both houses, surveyed the work, and began right away. The first lighting fixture replaced in our house was problematic because of the manner in which it was originally installed by our home contractor - no junction box, difficult to access, etc. Rhian had to spend a lot of time on that first light, but he discounted his work on that light back to that of a normal light installation. He skips no steps and the only way he will do something is the right way. Quality work.
The bathroom fan replacement at our daughter's house was a difficult installation through tilework and had to be accessed through the attic, but he handled that with no difficulty. The rest of the installations were more normal, and overall he spent 16+ hours over 3 days working on eight fixtures, charging about $30/hour, and honestly I think he under-charged us for the hours he spent as he brought a helper the third day.
In my past other electricians have either been slapdash with sloppy workmanship, or they took inordinately long times and/or charged high fees. Rhian Daniels is neither. He is meticulous, does quality work, takes his time to do a quality job, and charges very very reasonable rates for the high quality work that he does. He does many things beyond electrical work. I can't wait for him to come back and complete the other two jobs in the spring.
Deliberate, professional, high quality and high value would be the descriptors I would choose to describe Signature Home Improvements.

I can't say enough about Rhian and his son Matt. Rhian was not the first contractor I had planned to use for the project and he turned out to be everything the first one was not. I got his name from a friend after the first contractor failed to meet multiple appointments with me. My friend made the initial contact (he had worked with Rhian before) and left a message; Rhian returned the call with in the hour. It was a day or so before we connected; he came over to my house to see the kitchen and discuss the project within a day or two. He sent me a written estimate the next day via email. Rhian made himself available to accommodate my work schedule and to meet with the kitchen designer. He showed up on time to every appointment! As with any big project sometimes adjustments have to be made and he always kept me informed and asked questions when not sure when to move forward. He had helpful advice when I had questions, and his advice proved itself. Matt and Rhian were easy to work with making the experience the least painful as possible. The quality of the work is wonderful. I will call him for my next project.

Always reliable and honest about what can and can't be done. Always shoed up early or if they were delayed they wouold call. Took no short cuts and always provided a quality finished product. They are very versitile and they have become my go to contractor for any remodeling or repair to our home. After several bad experiences I finally found a contractor I can trust and rely on.

Friendly, excellent working relationship beginning to end.

They were very neat and provided superior work. I have even hired the company for another project since completion of this one.
