The cleaning was begun when the employees found they could not clean our deck with the stain that had been applied previously. They had done a very small area and had to stop and not continue. Because they did not prepare the work area completely, some of the stain splattered onto our siding. He did bring it to our attention, told us we would receive a phone call and left. We did receive a phone call but were unable to connect with the gentleman until I finally called the owner of the business. When we notified Christine of the problem, she wasn't aware of the total situation, she immediately sent out their professional painters to assess our problem. They were surprised at the damage that was caused and remedied the situation right away. They repainted our siding on the side of the house where the damage was. They did the entire side of the house, not just repainting the stained parts. They did a fantastic job, and were very apologetic for the damage. They looked at the porch and told us that to do the job correctly, the cedar should have been sanded and properly prepped for the job which would have added to the cost of the work. Had I known this sooner, I probably would have gone in that direction right from the start to have the job totally completed. There was no problem in getting our refund of the down payment. Christine and her husband Phil were very nice people to deal with. As far as the original job that would have been done, Phil was punctual to come and give the estimate and Christine was a wonderful person to deal with on the telephone and was very helpful in getting the situation remedied. I believe I would have been satisfied with their work had I known that they would have had to sand the porch in order for the job to be done correctly. They do have a good reputation, as they also seal cement and do graffiti removal. So I would tell other people to check them out and decide on their own to contract them for a job.
