Schnaare’s Heating AC and Insulation

It was a challenge  because adaptations had to be made to the gas, electrical, and  supply and return vents  to align with the new unit.  However the servicemen worked diligently to make everything fit.  The only downside was that the new unit did not quite fit on the same concrete pad as the old one and a 4x4 had to be added along the ouside edge for support.

They did a great job. Didn't take a lot of time.

Mark Gave us an estimate to remove three layers of shingle and replace with new. He told us there may be a few sections of plywood that would need replacing at about $100 each. When the guys pulled off half the front roof, they stopped and said the old plywood was up useable and had the estimator come back the next day. He said ALL the plywood would have to be replaced and the estimate doubled to $8,000 All the new roofing supplies were already paid for and blocking the driveway. The huge dumpster also parked in the driveway so finding someone new, or getting a new estimate seemed a bit too late to change direction. So they continued after we had to empty our saving and borrow money. They removed the gutter guards but then put them on wrong so he sent the guy back and he put it back on, again wrong but we didn't realize this until winters freeze and thaw created huge ice patches on the concrete steps because he had the edge hanging too far over the gutter. We called Mark at least 3 more times, called the owner and finally Mark called back. This was after 3 months of us calling. Mark said they were no longer in the roofing business. So basically, too bad, so sad. We would never use such Schnaare

Alex called before he came. We had an appointment, he called to see if he could come a little earlier, which worked out well for us.

The gentleman showed up on time. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He told me if what he did, did not fix the problem to call and they would be right out there would be no service charge and would go on from there but he did not want to start checking and replacing things and costing me money if he didn't have to. Second time I have used them and will continue to do so

Whole thing was very easy and smooth. I was able to get a service date/time scheduled with ease. Technician showed up exactly on time, got to work and explained his findings and what he performed. Was provided detailed summary of work and findings. I plan on using again for furnace check in the fall. Very competitive pricing, too - significantly less than the service I used before. I would recommend for this service.

Just alot of time spent with system on and no adjustments made. The thermostat was just viewed once, making no adjustments, and the tech didnt even know about the covered vent which needed to be open/uncovered for maximum air flow.

All in all we were pleased with their service.

I looked on Angie's list and found the name of this heating and AC company Schnaares. I called and asked if I could make an appt. for the next tuesday first thing in the morning to have my furnace cleaned and checked for winter. It had not been done in at least 3 years.
The gentleman who answered the phone was very curteous and he said no problem in getting the date or time I wanted. He also told me they had a sale for 10% off of the furnace cleaning.

The repairman showed up right on time. He was curteous and took the time to vacuum out the furnace, he adjusted the igniter and cleaned up after himself. He installed a new filter for me and he checked the efficiency of the heater.

He did not try and sell any additional services. He even told me my furnace was rated 80% efficient and it was actually running at 82% efficiency. They came and did what I needed. I paid under $85.00 to have the peace of mind that my furnace will be ok this winter.

I will absolutely use this company again and would recommend them to everyone. It's nice to work with people who don't try to take you for things you don't need or can't afford.

I always have the same service person each year because he knows his work, comes on time and does a complete cleaning and check up and is of course friendly.

Tech left to get a transformer (and perhaps take a lunch break), and let system run for a while. He may have never serviced a mobile home before because the main problem was (and he never checked) that the floor vent was covered by a rug which prevented air from circulating properly out of the home. I found that out a day later and called them to explain why the unit never shut off or why max air flow wasn't coming thru the vents.

The company comes out once a year to maintenance the unit since it was installed. They are very professional and know their work.
