Smoothly, done within an 1 hour, maybe hour and a half. John and his staff were punctual and professional.

It went fine. They were fast and efficient. They did not mess around and They did not mess up my fence. And they also ground a very small stump nearby at no extra charge that I asked them to do at the last minute. They were friendly and they listened to my concerns. And they left no mess and where the tree was is nice and flat. Now my other tree and lilocks can get more sun and thrive.

When I called for an estimate I explained that the tree fell on our garage and I needed to get the estimate for the insurance company and that I needed to get the tree off our garage right away so it didn't do any more damage.  The owner showed up within the hour ! After giving me the estimate, he said they were really busy right now,but he made sure he got me in right away to take care of it. The estimate was given to me on Wednesday and he arrived with his crew on Friday!
The crew were super nice and professional. They arrived right in the morning like they said they would ...all 6 of them!  The owner even came to help!  Each one knew exactly what to do and they were in and out before I could get back home from my daily errands. I was very impressed with the way they worked together and the workers all seem to be local guys  who have worked in this field and area for many years. No swearing, no hangovers, no loud jamming radios. Just good guys getting their job done and doing a awesome job the good ol' American Way...fast,efficient and done right!!! No fly by nights here! I would hire them again anytime!

They turned up when they said and took care of the job quickly. I went to work and came home to a stump. The family and I went to the zoo the next day and they came out and took care of the rest. There was a substantial pile of wood chips, but that worked out in our favor as we needed it for landscaping. We've already run out.
It was an expensive job but it was a 50 foot tree that was in a hard to get to area behind our garage.
We called two other tree companies for estimates and still have not heard from them. I can't say if anyone is doing better quality work at lower prices since Lakeside is the only company that will turn up. When you have a giant mature tree getting ready to split and fall on your house and garage, time is important.
For the record, this is the 3rd time we've hired Lakeside. We had the same issue previously where we got an estimate from Lakeside and waited (and waited) for another Tree Service company to turn up to get a competing estimate.
Bottom line- they turn up when they say they will, they'll give you an estimate, they know what they are doing, and the price seems fair.

When I called for an estimate I had it in writing that afternoon when I got home from work. When the concrete company scheduled removal of the busted sections Lakeside adjusted their schedule on short notice to accommodate me. All around a very positive experience.

The cleanup with this last job was done very poorly. They didn't even have the right equipment necessary for the cleanup. We're still cleaning up the mess and the job was completed more than two months ago. They were supposed to cut one tree down, but they basically just cut the top off. I had to do the rest myself. Another tree was left with a stump about three feet high when I'd asked him to cut it as close to the ground as possible. They've done good work for us in the past, but I think he's beginning to take things for granted.

They have been doing a lot of work for us and they have done a good job. They are very professional and clean. Nothing has been damaged. They have done us well, gave us a good price and we have been very satisfied with them.
