Our entire experience with them could not have gone better. Julie was a pleasure to deal with in the showroom, Jeff was prompt in coming out to measure and managed the entire process well. Howard was a true craftsman with the flooring and Brian was an artist with the tile installation. They all contributed to getting our complete kitchen, family room, and powder room remodeling done in five weeks. They exceeded our expectations in every way. We were not aware Dickow & Cyzak aso carries cabinets. Had we known, we would have considered ordering from them.
Just finished a kitchen remodeling project with Dickow & Cyzak Tile Carpet One of Kenosha, Wisconsin as the contractor. Totally pleased with the final outcome in all aspects of the project. Working with Jeff Dickow and his crew was a pleasure. From our very first meeting with Jeff to plan the project, select the various components up to making the final selections and measurements, Jeff was the true professional. He made some excellent suggestions to our original idea that enhanced the outcome. Only one glitch, that being the very special sink that we wanted was back-ordered by the manufacturer, something that was beyond Jeff's or our control. The new quartz counter tops, island, and cabinet modification, along with installation of the new sink, faucet, sprayer, soap dispenser, garbage disposal and plumbing modifications went smoothly. All staff members were courteous and friendly but also attentive to getting the job done to our total satisfaction. They all took special care to clean up after themselves and took all precautions to avoid making any mess associated with doing a remodel in the middle of winter with snow and ice on the ground. We do not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone interested in similar projects.
In less than a year, a water leak developed behind the tub faucet, which caused damage to a part of the kitchen soffet below the tub area. We had to call a plumber to repair the leak, which turned out to be a poor solder connection to one of the water supply lines that the D-C plumber worked on. We went to D-C and spoke with Chet. about this. He told us D-C would reimburse us for the plumbing repair, but never did.
After seven years, the repainted bathtub was wearing down to the original color in places on the bottom of the tub. We recently had the bathtub replaced and the the tub area retiled by another vendor.
oI will say that we used D-C twice previously, once in the late 70's to remodel a bathroom and once in the early 80's again to remodel a bathrrom and we were very satisfied with their work, which is why we chose them to do the work in 2004.
