The finished work doesn't look pretty but I need to have the entire floor replaced because of the water leakage. Andy's floor work was a temporary fix. The washer repair was just fine.

Saturday morning (6 Oct 12) I realized that the drum belt (the original one) on my old RCA electric dryer had broken. I called their Kenosha phone number around 11:00 AM that same mornng and was pleasantly surprised when a real human voice answered. She (the wife of Andy, the son) scheduled a service call for the following Monday afternoon, stating that someone would arrive between 3:30 and 6:30 PM.
Andy (the son) arrived on time (about 5:45 PM), definitely knew what he was doing (appeared to have expertiseon my exact model) and completed the job in a very short time. He even applied belt lube after replacing it to reduce friction and help the belt last longer. That's a sign of a quality repairer.

Our basement was flooded when we lost our sump pump during a severe storm and our washer and dryer were in about 6 inches of standing water for a couple hours. Being as our front loading washer was only about 5 years only - we decided to see if it could be fixed. We called Central Appliance, Andy came out and fixed both the washer and dryer - they have been running like new since. The price was very reasonable - the $1000 total I reference includes the purchase and installation of a new dishwasher as well as the repair of both the washer and dryer. Andy even gave us a couple coupons for game tokens at a local family "fun park". Our kids were thrilled considering the previous week had been pretty rough on them with the flooding - it was a good break for them from everything going on.
