We do not design our services or programs around "marketing". If you only need a one-time service, we will only recommend a one time service. We always back all of our services with a guarantee. If you prefer a preventative maintenance service, we will design one that is both fair and very effective. Spectrum Pest Control is dedicated to providing customers with superior pest control. In our opinion, that's not enough. You need information too. That's why we've developed our comprehensive, easy-to-understand Quick Courses. The "WHAT'S BUGGING YOU?" series is designed to bring you, in concentrated chapter form, the information you need to understand the pest that's bugging you. If we work hand-in-hand, pest control can become pest elimination...and that's our goal. The exclusive Spectrum Quick Courses will provide you with biological facts, nesting habits, and even reasons why potentially inviting aspects of your household roll out the red carpet to "uninvited guests!" There may be more of them than us, but not for long. Do you have any employees? A. Spectrum Pest Control is owned and operated by Brent T Towle, a certified Master Technician with over 30 years in the industry. I understand Spectrum offers green pest control service, is this the only way you service? A. Spectrum Pest Control will use green methods when ever it is either requested or the best option. We will also use more traditional methods as long as they are safe for your family and pets. “We are the first owner operator company in the state of Wisconsin to earn the status of QualityPro” As a QualityPro company, we have taken many steps to provide you with a higher quality, more worthwhile service. One of most important things about being a QualityPro company is our commitment to provide environmentally responsible pest management. This means using integrated pest management, or IPM, to solve your pest problem. An IPM approach is focused on the removal of the three key elements pests need to survive: food, water, and shelter. By concentrating on eliminating the sources of these elements, your home or business becomes a less desirable destination for pests, and greatly reduces the likelihood of an infestation. More importantly, IPM aims to correct the root cause of the pest problem, providing you with a longer-term solution to your pest problem in the least intrusive manner possible.

We have a beautiful back yard that we often can't use because of mosquitoes. Brent put down a treatment a week before memorial day week-end. He then did a follow up treatment a couple weeks later. I am a mosquito magnet and I have been bitten ZERO times in my yard this summer. It is such a joy to be able to enjoy my outdoor space. He will come again in a few weeks if he feels the weather makes it good for mosquito growth. He watches the weather and times things very carefully to get the most effectiveness from each treatment. He won't come out just to get paid. If you pre-pay for a treatment and he does not feel you need it, he will roll over the treatment to the next year.
He also came out and inspected my attic area above my garage where there was evidence of mouse presence. He said it looked as though the mice were long gone but he laid some strategically placed traps anyway. He was again correct, because the traps have caught nothing.
I wanted to also note that the cost I listed above was for 6 visits and 5 treatments. I pre-paid for 3 mosquito treatments and 2 perimeter treatments. I think that cost is very reasonable for 6 visits, inspection, 5 treatment and considering the results we have gotten.
Brent is a really friendly, professional guy and was also very clear about the toxicity of his products. He uses pet friendly products which was a big concern of mine. If I need bugs gone, I will call Spectrum.
"Wow! I am not sure how to respond. I spent over eight hours in total inspecting, identifying and carefully explaining what was being reported as an insect or parasite was in fact dirt particles, pet hairs and other household debris. I even stressed that Pam send samples to a third party to confirm my findings. When I first arrived to inspect her home for fleas, the first thing she showed me was her bed, which had a coating of pesticide dust all over it. At that point I told her she will need to have the mattress either professionally cleaned or replaced. As a policy, Spectrum Pest Control does not treat mattresses. We recommend installing bed bug wraps. Which protect from dust mites, bed bugs or any other irritants that may be in the bed. We did service for fleas only after speaking to her veterinarian who confirmed the two dogs did have fleas late summer of 2013. We used natural organic Certified products. Again, never treating beds or on furniture. This was done preventively since at no time did I find nor did Pam produce actual fleas. This negative review is unfortunate. Especially when I took so much time away from my family to help her find the cause of the reactions she was having. Fortunately I am a Certified Master Technician with the highest score in the state. I have twenty nine years experience. Gaining the confidence and respect of my peers, I served 18 years on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Pest Control Association. This includes the two years I served as their president. I sincerely hope Pam can find the answers she is looking for."
