Once my contract was signed, I never heard from the agent again.  He never contacted me to see how the move was going or to check after the move was completed.  The agent told me all door jams and basement wall would be padded to prevent damage while moving furniture out of house.  Nothing was padded.  When the movers moved the shelves in my basement they hit walls damaging them because nothing was padded.  Then they refused to try to move them out again even though they were moved to the basement while they were assembled.  My friend had moved them to the basement with another person.  They were moved downstairs assembled.  My friend had to come and could not move them by himself and the movers would not help him.  He ended up having to disassemble them to get them out.  The movers just watched.  I ended up throwing them out when I got to Texas because so many parts and I could not put them back together.  I got no reimbursement for the shelves.  I asked the mover if he could repair the damage to the walls and he told me he could not.  The final walk-through for the sale of my house was the following day so I had to go the the store and buy plaster and painting supplies (mine were packed) to repair the damage myself.  After arriving in Texas, the driver was in a hurry and could not wait while I got the lock and signed the paper for the storage unit.  He asked to pull in the back while I finished.  I was to go back and watch as the storage items were unloaded to assure there was no damage.  They started unloading my antiques before I could see them.  The are now in the back of the storage unit and I will not know until spring when the movers move them out if they were damaged.  They forgot to unload some boxes at my apartment so they left them in the storage unit saying they were "storage" items.  They were food items after I went back looking for missing things.  The packers labeled almost all my kitchen boxes "glassware".  I had specified which items needed to go to storage when they were packing so there the boxes should have been packed accordingly.  I had no idea what was storage.  I had to unpack all the boxes and repack them myself and then take them to storage myself.  I find this unacceptable as I am an older (almost 60 yrs old) woman with a bad back.  All my pictures were labeled "pictures" and I also had to unpack all the pictures and repack what needed to go to storage.  The movers did not reassemble my bed because he didn't know how to put it back together.  I had to have a friend put it back together for me even though I paid for the reassembly.  The wheel on my nightstand was broken.  The mover said he fixed it but after he left, I saw that it was still broken and unusable.  I had to have a friend make the repairs.  The mover seemed to not want to put any of my furniture back together even though I paid for the service.  I never heard a word back from my agent after I signed the contract.  He finally made two attempts to call me after I filled out a survey for United Van Lines.  I was in meetings at work both times.  I tried for two weeks to contact him calling over eight times and leaving voice mail each time asking for a return call.  I never heard back from him.  I have moved many times in my life and never had any major issues.  I also had United Van Lines move me another time without any major issues.  This was absolutely the worst service I have ever had.

They were actually early.  They were also accommodating with the move back from the garage to the living room.  Charged $103 for each job.  Great experience all the way around.  Paying them was a lot cheaper than paying a doctor's bill for my back.

they were on time and professional. My husband was an owner-operator for 30 years so he knows the business very well. He was very satisfied with the move as was I. They were careful with our furniture, put our baby grand together and did not leave until I was completely satisfied.

We moved an entire house. The move went very well on both ends. They were able to manuever our belongings without a hitch.
