Vance was referred to me by another painter who did not feel they could complete the job in the time I wanted.  Vance responded very promptly to my initial contact and scheduled an estimate for a few days later.  He was so prompt to the estimate appointment that he actually beat me there as I was a few minutes late.  He listened to what I wanted and gave me some direction on options.  He had a quote to me a few days later.  When I decided to hire him he was able to start the job within 5 days.  He actually got started earlier than he thought he would which means he finished up sooner than we had expected.  The job looks great!  Very professional quality job.  He even did a few extra bits of repair to some earlier drywall patches that had not been done so well.  He also painted the ceiling in my laundry room, at my request, without adding anything to the estimate.  He and his assistant were very tidy so that when they were gone all that was left to say they were there was the newly painted walls and the faint smell of fresh paint.  I will definitely hire Vance in the future.
