Matsen Painting LLC

Based upon my above explained business dealings with Richard Matsen and Matsen Painting LLC; I CANNOT AND WILL NOT ENDORSE HIM AS A REPUTABLE BUSINESSMAN, NOR COMPANY! This is my opinion based upon my personal experience in dealing with this individual and his company.

Richard is always kind and professional.  Repair work was completed properly and if adjustments were necessary, he fixed those immediately.

Rich was very responsive to my calls and questions.  The work was delayed somewhat in the beginning and during the work by weather but they kept after it.  All of Rich's employee's were very polite and relayed any questions and comments I had to him immediately. My home is two story with an approximately 40ft tall chimney that has wooden trim on it.  They did a very good job of reaching all levels. There were no add-ons from the original estimate and the cost was exactly as quoted.

Rich was very pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic! They completed each section of the house at a time,so there were no lap marks! Everything was done in three days!! The job site was just as clean after they left, as it was when they started! They did a very nice job,and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They did excellent work. Owner was on site to set up work and follow-up on his crew and the results. Quickly returned to fix one part that was not quite right. Very satisfied with final outcome.

Can't speak highly enough of Matsen Painting. Rich is great with colors, recommendation and going the extra mile. We've used him for minor touch up jobs as well as large scale commercial painting in our store.

Rich and his crew painted the exterior of our house this past summer. He was great with matching colors and giving recommendations. We even ran into some minor issues that he corrected. This is the 2nd time that we used Rich and his crew for projects at our house. I can't see using anyone else for future projects.

I've used them several times. The owner, Rich, is a really easy guy to work with. He is very flexible. If he sees something that needs to be done, he just does it or he will tell me if he sees something and how much extra it will be, such as $40. It is more than worth the $40 just to get it done, while he is there. He is always very reasonable. He is excellent. I competitively bid him the first time when I had the major work of house painting done and he wasn't the cheapest but he was by far the most thorough in identifying what needed to be done. The work was very good quality. I had no regrets and all my neighbors have used him since and been very happy.

I have had a very good experience with them. Richard is a very easy guy to work with. He has done a good job. They were not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive. Richard is very professional.

Rich and his crew were outstanding.  They were always on time and ready to go as soon as they walked in the door.  Rich provided us with some great feed back on ways were could paint the rooms and colors to use.  After the job was done Rich looked over the entire job, found some things that he didn't like and came back to fix them that day.  These details I would not have even noticed.  Rich and his crew took pride in the job they did and it showed.

Rich is a very trustworthy person and business man.  He knows a little extra effort is what pleases customers.  No hesitation to hire him when we need painting next time.

We had Rich and 3 other contractors come over to provide an estimate on 9 rooms/areas in our house.  We interviewed 1 large company that used sub-contractors and 3 small businesses.  Rich did a great job explaining exactly what to expect.  Including the timing of the project, materials used, daily schedule and completion date.  He made recommendations along the way as well.  He reviewed and helped us select colors...I have to admit this part of his skill set and service surprised me but the colors look GREAT!!  He was not pushy at all and answered every question we had in person, via email and phone before, during and after our project.  His responses were always quick and contained the information we needed and asked for.  We were/are VERY happy with the work that was done.  We have a lot of cherry wood work in our house and didn't want paint all over it.    Rich did a great job cutting in the paint around the windows and wood work without getting any on the wood work!!  Also, the ceiling lines are perfect.  As you can tell we more than a little particular and are very happy with the work.  The painting looks great and I have already recommended Matsen Painting to friends

They did an excellent job.  They were quick, clean, efficient, and extremely courteous.  They went above and beyond the expectations.  Overall, the work went well.   Their price was reasonable.
