Lemke Fence

We just moved to the area, so when we ordered the fence we were not at the house to measure the needed amount of fence ourselves. So, I drew them a diagram of where the fence should go, and they assured me that they would go measure it. They did, and offered us a quote that we accepted. At that time, they told us it would be 3 weeks until they could install it.
After our move, we had to call them several times to clarify installation dates (posts installed one day and fence closed in a week later) and times. They were not great at communication.
Finally, two weeks later than originally promised, they came to install the posts....without confirming the time with us to see if anyone would be home. Luckily, we were. As they were installing the posts, we noticed that they were starting to put them in the wrong place. If we hadn't been home, we would not have known until it was too late. Anyway, we went out to talk to them about it, and it became sort of a big issue, including calls to the boss and revisiting the diagram I had sent them. We finally convinced them to put the fence where we wanted it, but they said it would cost more because it was not what they had originally planned for. We discussed this for a while, pointing out that it was not our fault that they measured incorrectly and that they should stick to the original quoted price. Without really reaching an agreement, they finished the fence and left.
A few weeks later, we received the handwritten invoice, and they did stick to the original price. yay!
All in all, the communication was terrible, but the product is good. The fence looks great and seems durable. I would use them again, but I would be very careful about the details of the project.

Work was done in two visits. The first one consisted of removing the old posts - including the concrete they were in and setting new poles in new concrete. The second visit they installed the new fencing and the gates. In the week in-between they draped old fencing around new poles and/or stakes so I could continue to have the yard as an option for my dog.

My experience with them was excellent.

Lemke was fine. They did it promptly.

They came and put the post in before we knew they were going to do it. We have had them do work at our other house. Thus far, our experience has been good.
