PupJoy Dog Walking & Pet Care

Sandy is very good with our dog, and our dog loves seeing her. Very reliable. We have no worries when we call her to care for our pup. We have called her at last minute and she was able to take care of our pup. Highly recommend her.

We originally were going to take our 2 cats to a boarding facility but after personally visiting the somewhat expensive and cramped options available in Janesville, we decided to go the route of a cat sitter in our home.  Never having done this before, we were obviously apprehensive to having someone in our home while we were gone so we personally interviewed 3 of the 4 pet sitting services offered here on Angie's List.  We chose Sandy from PupJoy due to her outgoing personality, and because our 2 cats took a liking to her from the very first visit.  Pet sitting is her only occupation, and it shows from her caring and dedicated service. She did an outstanding job for us by maintaining communication (via text message) as to how the cats were doing in our absence, and even made sure the cat litter waste was taken by the garbage crew so we didn't have to come home to a full,

stinking garbage can!  The cost for her services was a fraction of what a boarding facility would have charged, plus our cats didn't get the anxiety of having to be displaced from their home.  Having Sandy coming and going from our house for that 10 days also gave the added benefit of having that "lived in look", so security was less of a concern as well.  We will use PupJoy again the next time we are gone for any length of time, and would, without hesitation, recommend Sandy to anyone looking for an honest, caring pet sitter!

After seeing how small the kennels were in the area, we decided to go the route of a personal cat sitter when we take
our vacation in December 2014. Since we have never used a cat sitter before, we were pretty apprehensive about having a stranger come into our home, and to watch our 2 cats. We asked Sandra, (owner of PupJoy) to come over so
we could interview her, and see how our cats interacted with her. She had no problem coming over prior to us hiring her.
When she arrived, she took the time to listen to all our needs, answer our questions, and visit with our two cats which incidentally took to her immediately. We knew the moment we met her she was the right lady for the job! We haven't had her watch our
animals yet since this was a preliminary visit prior to our vacation in December 2014, but I can say without a doubt that we are comfortable trusting her in our home, and with our cats. THIS IS A REVIEW OF OUR FIRST MEETING ONLY, AND I WILL FOLLOW UP AFTER OUR TRIP IN DEC 2014 FOR A FULL REVIEW OF PUPJOY’S SERVICE.
