I scheduled an estimate in fall of 2016. I called in early March to be added to the calendar and asked for a call back to confirm. Called again and left another message. They called once while I was away saying they would call back. Still waiting (it is now mid-June). I finally called a couple other service providers.

I first contacted Paul's in the late summer of 2015 for a quote. I dealt with Greg at each communication point from here on out. I meant to have the work done in the fall however time & money were not on my side. So as spring 2016 quickly approached I called to ask if the quote was still good. Greg honored his quote and even took the time to come back out again to walk me through the process & I added on some small level tree trimming and he gave me his word it would stay with in the orig quote. His customer service was fantastic. When I said I wanted him to do the job, he informed me we'd need some consecutive dry days before driving on the ground. He contacted me a week before he was planning on coming and when I inquired if there was an earlier spot he actually did have one...he was just trying to give me a weeks notice. His team showed up at the time promised and they did a fantastic job making it look much easier than it probably was. They took all the wood away, ground the stump and cleaned it all up. Despite my back and forth thoughts on wanting to keep wood Greg remained patient and understanding beyond measure. I can't recommend their service enough. My interaction with them far surpassed my expectations. I will call them again if I need any tree service in the future and recommend them to anyone.

Well he never showed up and never returned my calls. I had another tree guy come out and give me an estimate and he said Paul was embarrassed about the price he gave me which was too low and he won't have made any money on it. First of all why would you give me the estimate if you thought it was too low. And not even to have the decency to call me back or to tell me you weren't going to show up. The guy that did show up actually worked for Paul and now he doesn't because of the way Paul operated.

we got an estimate on 6-12-2014 per a employee who stated he was a certified arborist working for Paul's Tree Service . Ths helped us make the decision to cut down this tree. I thought the price of $300.00 was a little high , however, we had a tree removed 6 yrs prior and it cost $250.00 and just marked this up as inflation. He told us the tree would be removed , the stump would be removed , wood chips would be removed and it would be reseeded. We thought this was a good deal. He also gave us some information about some trees that he felt were infected with insects and offered assistance with this. He was very informative and we appreciated his information and guidance . We signed a paper with the job that was to be done and the price was noted as $300.00 with no other cost just that rate and that was noted as the total cost. We were told the guys would be there 6-16-2014 in the morning to remove the tree. we had to call by 11:00 am no one had arrived and no one called to say they would be late or when they would arrive. We had to leave a message on the phone because no one answered. About 20 minutes after the call the guys arrived and removed the tree and the stump was left. The guys worked fast and efficiently and they cleaned up really well after their part of the job . One of the guys came to the door then and said someone would be there to remove the stump the next day. The weather had been rainy on and off for days , and we accounted for a delay because of this , however, no one showed up or called to say they would have to delay or when they could be expected. someone showed up on 6-19-2014 or 6-20-2014 and finally removed the stump , however , he left all the shredded bark on the good grass . He then came to the door and said someone would be there the next day to " clean that up". No one came until 6-23-2014 . By then the chips had killed off some of the grass . The guys finally finished the job and one of the guys came to the door and we had a check already made out to Paul's Tree Service for the amount that was agreed upon .. The gentleman who came to the door had asked if the check could be made out to something else and if tax had been added. We told him that we signed for the total of $300.00 and then he said "well ok that is alright." We went with this company because it had a good recommendation from Angie's list. We also never met Paul or no one introduced themselves as Paul ,so we are not sure who Paul is.We were a little concerned when we called to make an appointment with this company, also, and the person who answered the phone did not have a business greeting; i did not know if I got the wrong number until I asked if this was Paul's tree service and the person on the other lines said "oh yes it is." Also when I called to see when they were coming ... no one answered the phone and I did have to leave a message. I appreciated all the information the gentleman who came to give the estimate gave ; he was prompt on coming to give an estimate and helped us make our decision , however , I would be reluctant to use this company again because of the lengthy process. The last time we had a tree removed the job was completed in one day and none of this prolonged process and not knowing when someone would be there to finish the job.

They completed the work and also met with the direct TV guy to make sure they removed the limbs needed so I would not get charged with another fee if I had to call them again. They were very professional and friendly. Did a great job and cleaned everything up after removing the limbs. Great service and will call them again if I need to. Thanks guys. I could not be happier.

I thought the quality was excellent. They came out and did a free estimate prior to the service. The scheduling was easy to work out. They were prompt. They were very professional and knowledgable. We plan on using them for tree maintenace in the future. I have recommended them to others in our neighborhood.

They did exactly what they quoted me and exactly when they said they would. I am very happy with the job they did and would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming/removal.

I have 2 friends who had good experiences with Paul, so he was the first person I called. After meeting with him and getting his quote, I signed the estimate right there in the yard. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and the price was exactly what I wanted to pay! They came out when they said they would, and finished the job quickly. There was a little miscommunication on how much wood I wanted for firewood, so there was a lot of wood still in my yard. They couldn't get to it that day, but came early the next morning(Saturday) and picked it up no problem. They don't normally work on that day, but Dave explained to me what happened and apologized for the confusion. No harm done. I must also add that we have a lot of plants around the trees that were cut down, and didn't dig them up or anything. I don't know how they did it, but they only bent a couple of stems on our lilies! Collateral plant damage might be part of the job, but I was impressed with these guys. They do care about their clients properties, and that's important to me. I highly recommend them.

I thought that they were real good. They were cheaper than anybody else. I would use them again in the future.

Paul initially had reservations about performing work at my address as it was a little further afield than he usually worked. When I said that my neighbor was also interested in having tree work done he agreed to come out for both estimates and came out right away. (it was a rainy day and he was not on a job). He was pleasant , took his time, and gave estimates for both jobs, indicating that he would prefer to do both at the same time. Compared to some other estimates I received, his was a bit high. As my neighbor decided not to follow through, I did not call Paul to have the work done. If I were closer, maybe the price would have been different. He did seem to know what he was talking about and the trimming he proposed seemed reasonable.

Came to give us an evaluation of the trees with recommendations for work to be accomplished and why. Did a wonderful job and we are very pleased with the end result.

They came to do the estimate the same day I called for service. I had called 3 other tree services in town and they gave me prices ranging from $1400 down to $750. Paul's estimate was $900. He was prompt, professional, and insured! They came on the day promised and the work was completed the same day. I would use them again and tell friends and family to as well. ~ Lynn
