Knight Flooring did a beautiful job repairing and refinishing the hardwood floors in my home.  This work was done while I was living in another state before I moved to Janesville.  Ryan from Knight Flooring was fantastic at communicating with me long distance via phone calls, texts, and texting photos of the work as it progressed.  Knight was reasonably priced, provided excellent customer service and did a fantastic job.  Highly recommend!

Working with Ryan of Knight Flooring was great. The work was impeccable. Ryan started the job when he said he would and finished earlier than expected. Ryan did all of the sanding that required a drum sander himself, which was a huge relief. When the job was finished, there was no dust to clean! Our floors look brand new and are so beautiful! Ryan always asked prior to completing an additional repair and was very upfront about what the cost would be; there were no surprises on our bill. Ryan was also able to offer us high quality cleaning supplies and furniture coasters to prevent scratches at a very small price; I appreciated this from someone who is in the business of repairing scratched floors. We received lots of information and tips on how to make our floors look new for as long as possible. Ryan was very tidy with his tools. We are extremely pleased with his work and will be hiring him again in the future for other flooring jobs.

Knight Flooring spent the design and planning time with us up-front to make sure we were happy before work started. We selected all major design elements, materials, fixtures and colors. Ryan took us to the wholesaler's showroom to view all the potential finish choices. THE QUOTE The agreed upon quote was fair and there were no surprises or up-charges. We pre-paid materials costs and paid the balance at the completion of the job. THE PERFORMANCE The job timeline was delivered exactly as promised. The crew cleaned-up after themselves every day. There was a minimum of inconvenience, because the job was phased to allow access one or the other bathroom at all times so we never had to move-out or work around them. They were polite, respectful and throughout the project. MASTER BATH DESIGN and BUILD Glass block designer shower, new granite counters and under-hung sinks with all new fixtures, new tile floors and wall tiles to 4 feet. Ryan did all the carpentry, tile and painting himself and arranged a licensed plumber for new pipes and fixtures. The results are even better than we visualized. The terrazzo chip shower floor is a piece of art. GUEST BATH TILE and PAINT Beautiful new ceramic tile replaced old tub surround, and tile theme carried through the floor. Nice designer accents throughout. OVERALL SATISFACTION We are delighted with delivery and finished product. FOLLOW-UP Ryan returned to replace a cracked tile that appeared a month after work was completed - no charge!

Great Job by Knight Flooring
We had our foyer's badly worn oak floor refinished and simultaneously replaced the carpet in the adjacent dining room with new matching oak floor. The results are seamless and stunning. Good price; great value: they were quick, responsive and clean. Their vacuum system was amazing - no dust or mess and they carefully enclosed the work area to minimize inconvenience. These are nice honest guys worth doing business with. Grade: A-Plus.
In addition, while here, they replaced cracked ceramic tile and re-grouted existing kitchen floor with the same nice result.
Ryan and Joe were polite, thoughtful planners and guided us step-by-step through the project. Their quote was dead-on accurate (no extras or surprises). We have them on speed dial for all future flooring and tile projects.

The job went excellent and we added another room for them to do while they were here. He was very excited about doing the job and knowledgeable about hardwood floors.

The floors are absolutely gorgeous. We had to reschedule this service and he was very accomodating. Was great with our dog bringing treats to make friends. As in other reports did not put up barriers for dust but I didn't mind cleaning that up when I looked at the floors!

Quite messy with their tools left all over the place. Other rooms were not sealed off to protect from sawdust mess. Much of the tape I purchased for painting projects was used to put plastic on kitchen cabinets. Was told the new base trim would be 4 1/2" high, and it is actually under 3" - should have gotten every detail in writing. There is stain on painted trim that was not replaced, had poly drips on my counter tops, caulk was smeared on new floors and not cleaned properly. Bottom line, we're very pleased with our new floors, but the finishing work left much to be desired. Just a couple more hours of his time and more attention to detail and we would have been very happy clients.

I was happy with the floors, but I was not so satisfied with the rest of the finishing touches.

Joe was very nice, kind and described everything in detail that he would do. He explained the type of stain and poly, he even told me about the wood that we had down that he was going to be refinishing and the history of the wood. We liked him so much that we had him continue the refinishing into our dining room and will be having him refinish the wood in our living room.
