He did an excellent job of restoring it so it heats and runs very well without the noise and shaking. Very pleased with the results.

He showed up RIGHT ON TIME and had us working again within 30 minutes. Our compressor was having issues. He installed what he called a jump starter which got things going. He also had recommendations on what brands of refrigerators he would recommend as we are going to need one soon. He was friendly and professional.

He was here on time. Chatted with me as he did the work. Stopped the leak and charged me 25.00 less than he had quoted on the phone when I told him the problem
Then he told me about a wrap that he uses for his knees when he saw I had a wrap on. I have since purchased one like he said and it works so well

Response from D & P APPLIANCE REPAIR
"Thanks [Member name removed]! Hope your knees get better."

He checked the interior temp of the freezer went through the controls, turned setting down and it shut off, he said the freezer is old and it would cost almost as much to put a new compressor than to buy a new freezer, watch the temp inside the freezer. I appeciate this honesty. I have used D&P before with good results.

We have a home warranty, so I can't speak much about price. It only costs us $85 for a service call, but Dan's help was so good that I wanted to leave him a good review on Angie's list.
We have a Whirlpool Duet front-loading washing machine and a Kenmore dishwasher. We needed Dan to replace some electronics in the washing machine, because it got out of balance and pulled some wiring loose. Dan did a great job. He opened up the dishwasher and showed me how it worked. He needed a part that he didn't have in stock, so he ordered it while at my house on his iPad. The part came in two days, and he was back to replace it.
During another service call, he came out to replace the motor on our dishwasher because the dishwasher was making a ridiculously loud noise. He had all of the stuff he needed to pull out the dishwasher without scratching our laminate flooring. It took him 20 minutes to replace the entire motor once he had the dishwasher out. I would say the whole service call took maybe an hour, which was not much, considering the amount of work that had to be done.
Dan was in the Air Force and has an extensive knowledge of how appliances work, both mechanically and electronically. Even if I didn't have the home warranty from when we bought the house, I would call him again. He does a great job of explaining what he is doing, which is super important for a first-time homeowner like myself.

If he says he is going to be here at a certain time, he is or he calls. Like with the others that are professionals, they are not going to stop in the middle of one job to move on somewhere else. It’s done and it’s done right the first time. I never had to have him come back to redo it. He is a very mannerly and responsive individual.

Called on a Monday, left a message - return call before the end of the business day - D&P set up the service call for the following day directly with the tenant (washing machine is in a rental property) and showed up on time, performed the work, called with the information regarding the part needed and costs, and repaired the washer and tested it out all within a couple hours. Very professional and friendly.

Good experience had a couple of companies tell me they were going to charge me more than I paid in total just to come to my house and it would be several days to get to us. The part was the most expensive thing on our bill. Our service was performed on time and they were able to get out the next day (we called after 4:30pm so I wasn't expecting same day service). I worked in property management for a few years and have dealt with repair folks quite a bit and the service and quality for price were better than I expected. He even had the part on his truck so no waiting for a functional oven. We will call them again if we need an appliance looked at.

I felt that they were honest and professional. This was my first time using them but I would use them again.

They are very prompt. They are good and they take care of what they have to take care of; they don't linger. They are trustworthy and I trust them. They are kind of pricey. They were late.

The work they did was fine and he stuck to his estimate. I will not use them again in the future.
