 + -1 moreRICK WAS REFERRED TO ME BY A FRIEND FROM MY CHURCH. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND HARD-WORKING. HE DID EVERYTHING HIMSELF, DID EXCELLENT WORK, AND FINISHED EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. IN PARTICULAR, I REALLY APPRECIATED THE WAY HE WAS ABLE TO APPLY THE ''MUD'' TO ALL THE NEW DRYWALL. HE CAN PUT IT ON SO WELL AND CAREFULLY THAT HE HAD TO DO VERY LITTLE SANDING AFTERWARDS TO FINISH IT. THIS MEANT THERE WAS VERY LITTLE DUST FLOATING AROUND THE REST OF THE HOUSE, AND CLEAN-UP WAS A BREEZE. HE ALSO PATCHED AREAS THAT NEEDED IT.
Description of Work: WE HAD A PIPE BURST OVER THE COLD CHRISTMAS WEEKEND, AND HAD EXTENSIVE WATER DAMAGE. ONCE WE HAD FIXED THE PLUMBING AND GOTTEN RID OF THE WATER, RICK CAME OUT AND THOROUGHLY DETERMINED WHAT DRYWALL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ONCE HE STARTED THE WORK, HE DIDN'T REPLACE MORE THAN WAS NECESSARY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I WAS CONFIDENT THE PROBLEM AREAS WERE FIXED PROPERLY. IN ALL, HE REPLACED AROUND 800 SQUARE FEET OF DRYWALL, TAPED IT, AND PRIMED IT FOR THE PAINTERS. HE ALSO PATCHED 2 HOLES THAT HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY HOUSE FOR YEARS, AND ALSO FIXED SOME CORNERS THAT HAD SPLIT. I CAN'T TELL WHERE THE NEW WALL BEGINS OR THE OLD WALL FINISHES. GOOD WORK!
