V Wittenburg Construction LLC

He was supposed to be a turnkey project, meaning we should not have to touch a thing.  He backed out on the electrical, and I had to hire someone on my own.  We also had to do all the priming and painting.  Both of which were included in our contract and he did not complete.  Things were not completed, and he said I'm done I'm finished, I'm out of here.  He asked for payment right away.  I asked him to come and do a walk through with me, and he would not do it rather he just wanted payment.  We had an inspector come out and nothing was up to state code. He also did not complete drywall work, or duct work.  I had to find another contractor for the duct work, and he did not pay him.  I have since hired a lawyer, and he is no longer working for us.  The project was supposed to be completed the week after labor day, and we wrapped things up in late April.  One of the subcontractors kept telling us he was very embarrassed for him and said he has to do a lot of work to cover up for him. We could tell that was not concerned with the quality of the work.  I would not recommend him.
