Designs In Marble

Working with Designs in Marble was wonderful. They were thoughtful about our specific ideas and wishes. They were both patient and accommodating in our timeline and helped us pick a great product. They have so many beautiful choices. Carl and others are knowledgable about all their materials they offer and what would be a good fit for our needs and lifestyle/how we use our kitchen. We're super happy with the counter top and gorgeous stainless sink we now have. The installers were professional and everything went smoothly. Used wrong template for sink opening Installed adjacent slab with chip Told would install 2 new slabs Second installation put a hole in the ceiling Adjacent slab not new, shaved off chip Left adjacent slab 3/16" from wall No backsplash in this area Left dark wide lines and blotches along main seamline not removed by enhancer Left garbage disposal lock mechanism attached to old sink and disposed of it New part $50+, opted to replace disposal $105 Promised to fix all damages Their suggestion to hold $500 from final payment until damages corrected Once last payment $2300 cleared bank wouldn't answer phone calls regarding repairs Was contacted 5 days later by Sales Director. "Nothing more we can do for you. Since you've lost confidence in us we have closed your project," "We are emailing you names of 3 companies that could fix the countertop damages." Stated I signed contract that there could be damages to drywall. My response, "To the ceiling?" Sent email stating added 1/8" to sink slab and only shaved off 1/8" of chip Stated headboard backsplash would cover this area, no beadboard being installed in this area Slab is 3/16" from wall. Sink slab is less than 1/32" from being square Never addressed my additional plumbing costs, $175 installation, plus additional trip charges $175= $350, plus $105 New disposal I'm a 75 year old woman living alone, feel totally taken advantage of
