Al, the owner was very negligent in returning my calls throughout this whole process. It took 2 mo. before the job was done. He lied about dropping off a written estimate before work was done. He lied about having talked to my neighbor before showing up to do the job. In fact he never talked to neighbor and they never talked to him about removing a stump. I left 3 messages to speak to owner after the job was done before he responded. When I explained to him my disatisfaction with no warning and wood left on my lawn, he was rude and lied about the fact that he told me he would check with neighbor if needed to drive on their lawn. He said they didn't need to drive on their lawn, but it was clear that they had as grass was all flattened and the neighbor was not happy. How did he think he would talk to the neighbor when he just showed up on a work day? He removed $50 from my bill and I sent him a check.
