Starting in June of this year, I made my first contact with Sam, and we began our first of 2; day long trips through different homes. The decision was made to buy a fairly new home (up to 10 years old) and not build because we thought we could get more for our money. Sam was willing to work either way, a pre-owned or new. Over the next 5 months, we saw approximately 75 homes, with my wife and I flying up over the weekends and Sam taking us on the "tours". We found Sam to be a great partner, willing to do whatever it took to make sure we did not compromise. When we asked, he gave us honest feedback as to our desires, as well as certain expectations. He gave up some Sundays to be with his family, so that we could see some homes (yes, I realize that might be his job, but it's still a choice he made for us). We can honestly say that he has become a friend and will be first for our choice when we decide to sell.
