They were very punctual, provided quality work and were reasonably priced. They were very easy to work with. I would definitely work with them again.

Whitman Painting is responsive and their rates are competitive. They responded immediately to my call. Came out to give an estimate the same day, and scheduled the work for the following week.  The one day of work began at about 8am and they wrapped up by 2pm. The work was very professional, thorough, and efficient.

We were satisfied with them.  They were very friendly, they kept their time table, and they communicated well. We were happy with their pricing. 

A few days prior to our work starting Mark Whitman's wife was notified of receiving a Fulbright, so he was in the process of getting ready to move to Europe so it was his associates that did the painting. It went quickly - only 2 days (initial estimate was 4 days). Which was both the blessing and the curse of using this company.
Now that we've been living with the paint job for a few weeks, we're noticing areas that weren't quite finished, probably a result of what seemed like a rushed second day: a section of the bedroom wall wasn't completely painted; there are a lot of areas where the new paint met the old paint that were done sloppily; the edges aren't super clean; there were paint drips on the floors, tub, and door; and there are areas where some paint got on the ceiling. Overall, it was a nice job, but I've painted rooms before and it was exactly these small errors (which I've committed) that I was trying to avoid by hiring someone else to do the job. The repair in the closet looks good as do the other nail holes that were repaired.
We're probably going to hire another painter to come and repaint the ceilings to make the everything look finished and complete.

We needed our garage painted and out dining room painted. Our garage also needed some work, ripping off tape and patching several areas. Overall, we had a good experience and I would recommend. mark came out within 15 minutes of my initial call to write up the estimate. Joe did a beautiful job painting the dining room, and the garage looks great. An additional coat of paint was needed in the garage that was not written up on the original estimate. The job did take longer than we were originally told. Overall, Mark's crew were respectful, hard- working and went over and beyond, like moving a woodpile that we were not intending to move in the garage- just so they could complete the job.

Overall this was an A+ paint job at a great price.

The surface between our Pella window storm and inside glass panes had become water stained due to condensation over the past 15 years.  Mark came out and estimated the job.  He was exactly on time.  Due to cost, he recommended that we paint that trim area rather than dry to sand and bleach the stains out for a restain.  He matched a high quality exterior paint to the color of the surrounding wood stain.  After sanding and painting, the surface blends well and can't be noticed unless you are specifically looking for it.

Mark and his team mate were always on time, ver courteous, and did high quality work.

We are already calling them back to stain a new Pella sliding glass door and a ThermaTru fiberglass entry door.

I spent $380 on that work. They were good guys. They were very responsive.

Whitman Painting painted my entire condo with multiple colors, shades, and artistic representations. This might have cost me triple the price if I was in New York or Chicago, yet the work would be considered superlative anywhere.

The job done by them was good overall. There were some delay issues which were mostly related to the weather which wasn't really their fault. However, the job took a lot longer than originally intended. It took almost the entire month of October for them to get the work done. They were extremely meticulous and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after themselves very well which was nice. The price charged by them was good compared to the other bid that we had got. They were punctual, as they did show up when they said they were going to come. We would use their services in the future as well.

I wish I could give a better review than an "A" - From the first time I spoke with Mark - I was nothing but impressed. I had to change the start date due to unanticipated long-staying company, and Mark made the change without problem. During the time they worked at my home - he continually kept me up-to-date on the progress and if there were any issues. As the work was progressing, I was so happy with the work - I added additional areas to what they were doing. Overall - Mark and crew were exceptional. They took the time to patch stucco and walls - and did a beautiful job! I love the outcome! They were on time and on budget.

The company was recommended by our realtor. Mark came over within days to provide an estimate. He was able to begin work within a week. Originally we were just going to do the bedrooms and hall, but as work progressed we added the bathroom and main living area ceilings. Mark and Joe were very flexible, adding on the extra days we needed at a modest cost, and working around our schedules with carpet-layers coming into the same rooms on alternating days. The wallpaper borders were really stuck on, but they got them off in a few hours. They were cheerful and easy to work with. Mark and Joe have over 20 years of experience each, and they don't sub out any of the work, it's just them. I think the price was extremely reasonable, and the rooms look great now.
