Smoothly. Before the project started we were given a timeline for each aspect of the job including weekly calendars depicting start and end dates. All the workers in our home were friendly and knowledgeable. They were also very neat. Jon Lang communicated with us at least several times a week if not daily. We had different contractors install carpet and window treatments. The Lang Construction crew worked with them so all jobs were done on time. We found Lang Construction to be very professional and extremely easy to work with.

Some of the windows were hard to handle due to size and shape, but they made sure everything was done to perfection and to our satisfaction. They were always here when they said they would be, were very professional and cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I just wish we had used them to install the other windows we replaced last year! We would call Jon first for any future projects.

It went extremely well. We provided the trim and they cut out the MDF and installed the wood trim. I had been warned that there would be a lot of damage to the drywall as MDF doesn't come off easily, but there was virtually no damage. The quality of the installation was top=notch and Jon and Chad were punctual, professional and above board in every way. Their cost was lower than other quotes and they stayed true to the estimate. Plus, they hauled away the old trim and cleaned everything up. You wouldn't have known they were here except for the great installation.

Flawlessly. These guys are expert craftsmen, and very personable. High quality materials. Their quotes were very detailed that allowed us the option to do some of the work ourselves. They made sure the work areas were cleaned up before leaving. Definitely will use them again.

Jon has helped us with several projects since we moved to the area 5 years ago. The house had dry rot in several windows, and we weren't ready to replace them. I called countless companies. None of them worked on old windows. They all wanted to replace them. Jon came in, fixed the dry rot, for a fraction of what it would have cost to replace, and my neighbors are asking when we replaced the windows. They can't believe these are the original windows.
Last year, Jon and his crew remodeled our entire first floor. Jon was very thorough with his estimate, and, minus the changes we made, and a couple of surprises we found behind the dry wall, was on budget. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. The crew was with us all summer. They were respectful of our family and careful with our belongings.
Jon is honest. He tells you what he thinks, even if it means he doesn't make as much. His work is excellent, and he stands behind it.

Jon Lang and his team removed a load bearing wall between our family room and living room. Before we chose Lang Construction Group (LCG) we had received at least 3 other competitive bids. It was kind of an interesting situation because each bid had a different solution to removing the wall because of numerous ducts. LCG provided the best solution with a very competitive price. They easily provided the best value from the quotes.
Immediately after hiring LCG we knew we made the right decision, he provided timely service, his subcontractors were very qualified, and he was very clean (important to my wife with our brand new baby). It was very refreshing coming home from work and seeing progress everyday! We have hired contractors in the past, that would let jobs sit for a couple days or weeks. Not LCG, he had all the subcontractors and inspections lined up and knocked out our wall within a week. We even had a couple modifications and he handled those with ease, no haggling etc...
I wouldn't hesitate to use LCG for any-size job. We are planning to hire him in the future for additional work without hesitation.

We had our upstairs hardwood floors sanded and refinished, and afterwards, there were gaps between the floors and the baseboards (these gaps were previously hidden by carpeting). There was also a piece of trim on a door missing when I bought the house, and we needed a new door threshold from the hardwood floors into a bathroom.
Jon Lang came out to look at the work we needed. He suggested 1/4-round instead of shoe molding, since some of the gaps were bigger. He took measurements, quoted us for $833, and we agreed to the work.
We had worked with Jon before, and he was kind enough to deliver the trim early so we could paint it first. That was great, so we didn't have to worry about getting paint on the floors.
The work was all done in one day, and it really provided the finishing touch to all the other work we had done upstairs.
Jon does high quality work, for small or big jobs, and we highly recommend him. We have already used him again for other work, and will continue to do so as needed.
