American Arborists

The response was quick in visiting on site and providing an estimate. Work was to be done at their schedule. The work got done, but I just did not feel comfortable with how it got done. I can't explain in words, but I just didn't feel it got done completely.

My instructions were to grind the stumps and that I would remove the chips and fill in the holes. For one stump near the house, there was concern that it was too close to the gas line to grind much, but Tim did a nice job. Two other trunks, he wasn't sure if grinder would handle the size, but it did. The spring was quite wet, so he informed me when he would or would not be there, depending on the weather, in advance. Tim did a nice job.

Tim came within a few hours the day I called and gave me an estimate for all work to be completed. We discussed when he could do the work and he tentatively scheduled the following Monday depending on the weather. He was nice enough to call the Sunday before the work to confirm he would be there on Monday. The crew that did the work was very professional, friendly, and organized. They took great care when dropping branches and the trunks to avoid damaging adjacent trees and areas. If I had questions, they were answered in a friendly, informative way. Everything was done to my satisfaction and the clean-up was done as contracted. Overall it was a very good experience done in a timely manner. I am a repeat customer and have had Tim do work for me a couple other times.

Tim from American Arborists is very knowledgable about trees and how trim them so they add value and beauty to a property. He answered all our questions, giving good advice about the future of the trees in our yard. We learned alot about our trees from Tim (even though we've been in our house for almost 20 years), so after working with American Arborists we are better informed home owners. Because of rain, Tim had to delay coming to our house to survey the yard and give an estimate - so he came the next day which was a Sunday. He really went above and beyond to work with our schedule. After their work was finished, all branch debris was gone; they left our yard cleaner than they found it! We had specific requests which American Arborists were able to expertly address. In particular, the huge Silver Maple in our back yard was hanging high over the roof of our house, creating a difficult and possibly dangerous situation when removing large branches. American Arborists has skilled, well-trained employees who were able safely cut the over grown branches from the Silver Maple, yet still maintain a beautiful shape to this giant tree. We love the results and are very happy with the way American Arborists worked with us to take care of all our trees. We will call them again, without hestitation, in the future.

It went very well. The men were courteous, hard-working and able to answer all my questions. They left the area spotless when they left. I have used them before and have always been pleased. The invoice shows the same phone number, but the address on Angie's List is different from the 1315 Hawthorn Drive, Waukesha, WI, 53188 as listed on Tim's invoice.

Tim has been trimming our trees for several years. We have a large set of woods behind the house with mature trees, that need some level of trimming. Tim comes when we ask him, and makes quick work of the trimming.
