I have never experienced such a smooth investment, in a repair. This company was here at 7am and gone by 2pm, not a nail in the yard to be found. The entire group of roofers were exceptionally professional. The whole experience couldn't have gone any smoother. Shortly after the roofers started taking the roof of, the dumpster was delivered, and then shortly after that the shingles were delivered. As the homeowner we were not inconvenienced at all. We did not have a dumpster in our driveway for days, or shingles on the roof for days. Shelter from the Storm was the best company out of 6 when we looked around to replace our roof. I would recommend them to my friends, neighbors, and family. This company ROCKS! Call them today!

It went very well. The roofers did the whole roof in a day. Nice guys. Impressive work. They cleaned up the yard like you hardly knew they were there. The gutter/soffit/facia/chimney guys took somewhat longer. A few days. They were also nice guys and did a good job. They even replaced a broken brick on one of the chimneys and it looks like it belongs there. Not quite as good of a cleanup as the roofers, but no complaints.

Everything turned out well. They were here on time and were very friendly. It did not take very long, and they did a good job. They gave us a written estimate around a week ago, and it was a wide range estimate from between $200 and $600 dollars. I asked for a more narrow estimate, so they narrowed it down to around $350. We agreed upon the estimate and ended up scheduling the work. We were very happy with them and would use them again.

They were excellent. Everything they did was above par. We watched them do another roof in our neighbor and it looked great so that is why we hired them. Our roof was poorly constructed when the house was built so we had to reconstruct it. They helped us pick out the right kind of roof and skylight. Some people have horror stories with their roof's and skylights, but we haven't had a drop of trouble with ours. They had to strip two or three layers off of our roof, it was a big job. They brought in a really nice crew and were here everyday. They were very quiet and respectful; You hardly ever knew they were here. They were such hardworkers and very impressive. I never found a single nail around the house and they were about to complete the project in about a week. They really, really did a nice job and now we have one of the nicest roof's in the neighborhood. Their work is completely warrantied for 30 to 50 years and every year for 5 years the owner comes back to look at every single roof. I would recommend them hands down.

We selected this company based on a neighbor's recommendation and the company's willingness to give a 5% discount to our neighbor and us for both signing with Shelter. We were impressed at first by Frank's willingness to explain the quote and the process, which allowed us to better compare their bid against 2 others. We began to lose faith as we got closer to the start date for the project. We were told that we needed to select colors just a week before the job. After careful selection (we had spent many afternoons and evenings driving through the neighborhood looking at other homes that Shelter had roofed.), we were informed that the color was not available and we were asked to hastily make a decision based on color brochure rather than samples. At the last minute just enough shingles were found for the job. Similarly, we selected a color for the gutters and again at the last minute were told it was not available in the larger gutter size, which we requested. When the work began, we were pleased with the crew and believe they did a good job. However, once the roofing was in place, it took 3 more weeks before the gutters were added. Then, during the first rain we found that the downspouts leaked. I called the office and personally spoke to Jenna who assured me she would have the repair scheduled and I would be notified of the date. Two weeks later, having received no response, I called again and spoke to Frank. He said it was the first he'd heard of the problem and that he would take care of it. Two weeks later - still no response. I called again and left a message asking Frank to call me the following day with the date and time of the repair. Two days later, my call has not been returned. Calls and visits WERE made to us when the company was ready to submit their invoice and to collect payment, which we made promptly. Once our check for the roofing was cashed, responses to our requests about gutter installation slowed. Since the gutters have been installed and paid for, our request for the repair needed has gone unmet. While there were instances of Jenna going out of her way to get us what we wanted (hunting down the shingle color, dropping samples off at the house), we are extremely disappointed with the management and customer service of this company and found their responsiveness lacking. There were too many last minute changes and given the relatively small repair we are requesting, it's hard to understand why this has not yet been addressed.

The finished product was impeccable, the staff payed attention not only to detail but they were extremely neat, Frank said they would protect my landscape and they did. His staff are extremely polite and accommodating. My husband is in the building trades and he was truly impressed with the entire process. Because of the rainy summer his time table was slightly behind, but he kept us completely informed.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THIS ROOFING COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL STARTING WITH THE INITIAL VISIT FOR A BID, TO THE COMPLETION OF THE JOB. THEY WERE ALWAYS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS TO US. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON CLEAN UP EVERY NIGHT. THEIR PRICE WAS RIGHT IN THE BALLPARK WITH THE OTHER ESTIMATES THAT WE RECEIVED.
