The project started late. When old siding was removed it wasn't cleaned up properly and we found old siding and nails all over the yard. We borrowed a large magnet to sweep across the yard because we were finding nails all over. Nothing was ever picked up or put away so we had ladders and equipment all over our yard for almost two weeks. And a large pallet was left in our yard for a total of two months that we had to constantly move to not completely kill the grass under it. They didn't calculate for enough siding so they didn't return to complete the back side of the house for six weeks after they finished the other sides. There was no communication during that time until a text was received stating they'd be here in two days to complete it. We intended to install a patio door but seeing the poor quality job done on siding we weren't going to let them put a hole in the house. Pieces of siding started falling from the top of the house which was supposed to have been fixed when they returned, but it fell down again. The metal around the garage door was installed with less nails than should have been and cut in a manner that was a hazard per another builder as the metal edges were sticking out. Siding was overlapping in both directions when it should be one direction. Trim was installed in areas where water will get behind it and not be able to properly drain. Siding below a window fell down. Some siding wasn't nailed down below a different window. A random piece of siding about 8 inches long is placed in the middle of the rear of the house (in a very noticeable location) so they must not have measured properly and decided to just place an 8 inch leftover piece there. There are other small pieces of siding, but that area was the worst one since it's in such an obvious location. There are significant, noticeable gaps in every corner of trim around all windows and doors because it wasn't measured or cut properly, which was confirmed by another builder that it will allow moisture to get inside. Siding above the garage was cut too short and you can see the ty-vek wrap between the end of the piece of siding and trim. While pressure washing the siding and soffits they bent the soffit above the garage and chipped the wooden frames around the front door and garage window. The utility boxes were yanked away from the side of the house and left dangling there. We wouldn't hire this company to change a light bulb.
