I called the Real Estate Improvement Company after our house sustained major damage due to ice damming.  Matt came out and explained what was causing the ice damming explained what we could do to minimize the potential for ice damming in the future.  My wife and I had many questions and Matt took the time to answer each question so we fully understood our options.  He even returned messages we left while he was on vacation.
Matt and his crew have been the most genuine and honest contractors that I have worked with.  It is very obvious that they care about doing a quality job and making sure the home owner is satisfied.  Matt did all of the work that we asked, he was always courteous and punctual, the job site was cleaned at the end of the day and he never cut corners. If all contractors were like Matt, then review websites like Angie's List would not be needed.

The apartment roof was completed within one week.
The leaking skylights took two visits. He first tried the inexpensive alternative of patching the seals to see if that would solve the problem but during heavy rainfalls it still leaked so he had to order new seals for 2 windows. This solved the problem without having to replace the whole window (both were over 22 years old). We have had this company do work on our two properties a total of 3 times over the years. I wouldn't hire anyone else.

I can not say enough how happy I am with Matt Pelkofer,owner of Real Estate Co.for over fifteen years.He is very polite,cares about his customers,honest,and a true professional.What I really liked,and why I hired him, is that Matt is on every job he gets.Matt and his crew did a great job with a complete tear down and new shingles for my house and garage.When the job was done,he left my property cleaner then it was before he even started.I highly recommend.
