They always call and give a quote  before proceeding with work. They always charge you what they quote you. If they find something else, they will call you first.  Nice garage, good quality work. I have taken my cars here for years. They do a great job at a fair price.

After listening to brakes squeal the whole way home from vacation, we took the car into Piller's. They diagnosed it quickly and gave me a call with the quote. After a few quick calls to other shops, I found them to be equal (or better) in price. I gave Piller's the OK to do the work. They had it done that day. Unlike the last discount place I got brakes done (I won't mention them by name, but let's just say they don't have a golden touch), this brake job didn't require me to come back for any adjustments. Piller's got it right the first time!

I went to a major chain service company and got an estimate for $900 of work when I went in for just a service date. After asking around from several of our friends in Hales Corners, most recommended Pillars. We went to Pillars, the same vehicle was repaired for $250 and the mechanics said, they didn't understand why the add'l work was recommended as it did not appear to be necessary. We have used them ever since for two vehicles ; a RAM truck and a PT Cruiser. They are always timely and communicative.

Jeff was able to determine the cause of the draw off of the battery and replaced the alternator. He also worked with the extended warranty company so that all I had to pay was my $100 deductible plus shop supplies.

After another shop couldn't get the brakes to stop squealing, I took it to Piller's hoping it was just an adjustment away from working properly. Turns out they wanted to replace all four brake pads again. Will be going back to other shop for warranty work.

I've been fully satisfied with them. They are very honest and courteous people. They provide impeccable service. It's hard to find an honest auto mechanic, and I've finally found one with them! I'll continue to take my car here in the future.

My older car was leaking gas. I called Piller's, and they said to drop off the car, and they would look at it. It turned out to be just a rusted fuel filter, and they fixed it right away. Most consumers are at the mercy of a mechanic. They could have told me ''whatever'' i.e. something more expensive was wrong with the car, and I would have believed them, as it has happened to me in the past. They didn't try to upsell anything either. This was my first visit, and I am planning on returning.
