Everything went great. Dave called back to make an appointment to come over, showed up, got us the quote in a few days. We booked a date, then he e-mailed to say he had an earlier opening in 2 days. He came at 7:30 on time, completed the work well and in a timely manner. He is easy to work with, doesn't mind joking around a bit if you wish to, and answers any questions thoroughly. I will use him for any future projects and recommend him to others.

I called Dave Nagel and we set up an appointment for the following week to reveiw the job.  Dave arrived on time, walked through my plan and made a few suggestions on how to proceed.  He left, finished his estimates and I received an email with quotes for each of the bedrooms and closets a few days later.  After agreeing to go forward, Dave put me on his schedule for the following week. Prior to starting he called and stopped by the house to double-check measurements and check with me on stain colors to make sure they matched existing trim & doors.  
Dave estimated about a day per room and actually finished about 1/2 day sooner than expected.  He arrived promptly each morning at 7 and wrapped up around 3 each day -always cleaning up and removing and storing tarps before he left.  He kept me up to speed on issues (few) and had an answer when they did pop up.  The finished rooms and doors look great.  
Dave has broad contracting experience and we only scratched the surface of his capabilities.  I wouldn't hesitate to bring Dave in on any of our future projects.

We had another contractor that was doing drywall work on our house and, in the process, damaged some door trim, and broke wood flooring borders around our tile floors.

They referred us to Nagel to get the issues resolved because those repairs weren't their specialty.

Dave was very responsive to our phone call and, even though he's booked out for another 3 weeks, sqeezed us in to get the damage repaired.

He was very good with communication, very punctual both times he came over (one to assess the damage, and one to repair), and very accommodating to our busy schedule.

Both areas look fantastic and you can't even tell he replaced old wood with new.

A++ Service and would use again in a heartbeat.

David was responsive, on-time and did a great job. I would highly recommend him and will use him on future projects.

Dave was hired at the end of 2013 to frame in our lower level and to complete the finish carpentry work. The project was approximately 1300 square feet and Dave was given a very vague floor plan drawn up by us the
homeowner. Although it was not expected, Dave immediately took on the roll as general contractor.  He took the basement drawing and made it a reality.
The quality of his work was consistently top notch! Dave is skilled and knowledgeable. He doesn't  just want to get the
job done he wants the job done right.  He built our lower level with attention to detail. He used the care and
craftsmanship that he would use on his own home. Dave is an honest hard working man. He always thought two steps ahead of us and carefully planned every aspect of the building process.
His project management skills to coordinate the plumber, electrician and drywall contractors were prompt and effective. He
remained closely involved and oversaw every aspect of the project. His commitment to the project was very impressive.
Dave communicated effectively every step of the way. He always shared new or alternative ways to make things better or more
effective. At the end of everyday he would let us know what was completed, what the next day would bring and/or what supplies or building materials we would need to complete the project. I found that keeping us, the homeowner closely
informed made the whole construction process run smoothly. There were never any surprises.
His work ethic and reliability is something truly hard to find these days. He works very hard and was always on time.
Sensitivity to the work site appearance was always taken into consideration! Everyday the site was cleaned up in a very
professional manner.
Dave was so flexible and effective in dealing with the unexpected. One unexpected issue was the water issues. In a basement,
that?s a big problem. He came up with a genius idea of how to solve a very unusual water issue coming from a center atrium in our home. He had to take the lower layers of the siding off, install new flashing and take all the deck
boards out. He then redirected the down spout in a channel that he dug out in the middle of the atrium and then put it all back together. It?s hard to envision but it was nothing that he signed up for. He tackled the project in a
professional manner that included quality work. We haven?t had any water since.   We hired a separate contractor to install two
egress windows. That company left us with both windows seeping water in. Dave talked to that contractor and got that leak fixed also. Dave helped me with all of the closet ideas on the spot. He has some great ideas! My daughter loves her
custom walk in closet! He even used an old full length mirror I had, made a frame for it and installed it in her closet. Dave was beyond flexible.
We are extremely impressed with Nagel Contracting LLC.  Dave is personable and very easy to get along
with.  We will enjoy our lower level for years. We highly recommend him and his company for any project.  It?s very hard to find such great service and quality workmanship but Nagel Contracting will deliver! We will definitely be

Nagel Contracting LLC did a great job in creating the rec room we have long desired in our basement.
