They were wonderful.

The guys showed up as scheduled and worked diligently. The fire door replaced an out-of-code door on an addition; the door opening was not square, and the guys worked quite a while getting it installed properly. I fully expected there might be an extra charge, but I was happily surprised that there was not. Both doors look great and operate flawlessly. The guys cleaned up their work areas thoroughly, too, before they left; the drywall trimming might have been been finished a bit more, but it's a garage, after all. Wish I had had them come years ago!

From the initial estimate through the actual installment we were thoroughly pleased with the professionalism of Allis. The no-pressure estimate came as a pleasant surprise, coming on the heels of two extraordinarily high-pressure pitches from two of their competitors. They were also the only company willing to do a rather tricky bathroom window replacement and the result was outstanding. I would thoroughly recommend them.

The installation went well-it was done rather quick and the workmanship was very good.

I have used Allis to replace all of my upstairs windows and am starting on the main floor as well. They are great, will replace windows one at a time if you can't do it all at one time. They come well prepared and show their work before departing. They are amazing and can do so much more than windows. Our front door will be next.

Fast and professional

I originally called Four Light Windows because my neighbor had them do some work on their house. They did a good job and at a reasonable price and I thought they used their own company installers, I was surprised that Allis did not.. But when the phone was picked up I got Allis and was told that Four Light was now Allis. I proceeded with the job. I don't know how to rate this. I placed 2 orders with Allis, the 1st in Sept 2018, next March 2019. Both times they failed to meet the installation window, 6 to 8 weeks. The first order was for 5 windows and the patio door. In the 9th week I called to see how my order was coming, I was informed that someone would call me to schedule the install. No one called so I called back the next day, again I was told someone would call. Rich called me later that day scheduled me two weeks later. I was OK with that even though that would put me into early December for the install. They called the next week and had to reschedule because the installer had a funeral the day I was scheduled and they wanted a 2 week delay putting me into mid December. That was unacceptable, my patio door jammed in cold weather and it was imperative that it was changed ASAP because it was the only way I could get my dogs out to the yard. All this would have put me at 13 to 14 weeks after the order was placed. I asked for a refund of my 50% down and to cancel my order. Rich called me back and we came to terms (partial refund) to get the install done on the patio door on November 30th with a different crew, windows on Dec. 1st.. The door was installed on the 30th and it was a good job and the door is just great. December 1st was rainy and windy, we both agreed to do the windows on Dec. 5th with better weather. The crew that was originally scheduled showed up on time Dec 5th but because the days are so short in December they couldn't finish installing the 5 windows. Dec. 5th was a Wednesday, the installer said he would stop by over the weekend to finish up. He stopped out on Sunday to finish up......except he ran out of caulk on the last window and promised someone would stop out to finish up. That was a week later. The second order, March 2019) was for 2 windows and a complete change from 2 double hung windows to 1 large casement. Again the install was scheduled for 6 to 8 weeks. In the 8th week I called to see where i stand and was scheduled the following Thursday and Friday of the next week. That was OK because weather should not have been a problem, it was May. On Thursday, beautiful day, a crew showed and took down all the inside window trim and said that was all they could do because the installer, the same one I was to have in December, was sick. They said the sick installer would come back on Friday and finish up. On Friday it rained but Randy, Allis employee, and a crew showed up and did the 2 windows but couldn't finish because of the rain. I was left hanging for another week. Randy and crew showed up the next week and finished the job. The work was impeccable. Randy was outstanding and his work was very professional. I was informed that the sub contractor was no longer being used by Allis. The bottom line is this. Allis had trouble meeting the schedules they promised, but after talking to Tony, I believe he is the owner of Allis, we came to mutual agreements for the jobs completion. The work was done well, and Allis's only problem was getting the work done on time, as scheduled. Even though I had so many delays I would use Allis again because they did make everything right. Weather and short days were not their fault, but the sub-contractors problems are the fault of the company. They have to contract with dependable people.

I had two patio doors replaced. They were custom doors to meet the condo association's requirements. Allis was terrific, from selecting the doors to professional installation. The doors are great and the price was competitive. The doors were delivered and installed in the time promised. The cleanup was very thorough. They did a great job. Highly recommend and would use without hesitation.

I ordered my door on October 15 with Tony's assistance. The door was installed on March 1. They were able to allow me to keep an existing storm door, which was very gratifying. The new door looks great, and closes well with a great seal. The workers did a great job! The entire process went very smoothly. I am very satisfied with the results!

Outstanding! My husband and I love our new windows and patio door! The wood trim is beautiful. The employees were great to work with - very polite and considerate to clean-up when they were done each day. We would highly recommend Four Lite, which is now called "Allis Windows and Doors". The company is growing because they are good!

Very well from the start. First an appointment to get a quote. After we made our decision to go with 4Lite we made our down payment and work began about 8 weeks later. It took them about 5 days, we had 8 windows and did some additional trim work to 2 doors, and a garage door. The weather wasn't their friend, but they managed to do an exceptional job and cleaned up after themselves. Plus the windows look great!

We had 3 windows replaced. The crew was right on time, courteous, professional, and friendly. Our windows look great! We have dealt with Tony for all of our windows for years and have been very satisfied with each install. We will contact Tony again to have the remaining 3 windows replaced.

We couldn't be happier! Tony was very warm, honest, and professional, and he really knows the business, is able to help people choose the best product for situation, and then follows up regularly during the install and after. The install went very well. It was a long process, but the two installers did a great job, and made sure that we were completely happy with everything, cleaned up every day, and tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best service and final product. Our windows are beautiful, work very smoothly, and have made out winter very warm and cozy! The price was much better than the local Pella Store could offer. We highly recommend that you consider Four Lite for your job.

Tony was very easy to work with. He followed through with everything he told me upfront which has not always been our experience with contractors in the past. We were very pleased with everything from start to finish!

The two men arrived right on time. They did a excellent job. One was outside on the ladder and the other inside. They got the job done quickly and it is beautiful. I am very happy!

Tony/Four Lite did an excellent job. They were great to work with. I believe that they provide a high quality product at a competitive price. Tony was also very professional and nice to work with. I had a bay window which was sagging, and the windows wouldn't close properly. I was under the impression that I needed a new bay window which would have cost me approximately $8,000 - $9,000 to replace. Tony did quote me a new window but suggested that I go back to the original vendor and see if they could fix the window (jack it up from underneath and add braces). So, I did call them, and they were able to fix the window for $1,200.00, which save me $8,000! So, even though Tony didn't get that business, he earned the rest of our door/window business hands down. He truly went the extra mile, and it definitely set him and Four Lite apart from the competition. I would highly recommend them!

Tony was very personable and easy to work with. Whether it was via email or phone, he would respond quickly to my question. The day of installation, the crew showed up on time and were ready to go. They were very knowledgeable as we had a couple questions along the way. Throughout the install they kept the area neat and tidy.

Four Lite Window and Door, were so great! Tony was awesome to work with, and the installers Colin and Jim, were very professional, prompt and went above and beyond. They made us aware of some unseen issues when they tore out the old windows, that we were unaware of, and were able to correct them. We changed out our sliding patio door with an outswing door to our sun portch. What a difference! Love it! We have one window yet to do, once we figure out possible changes we want to make in our kitchen. We will be calling Tony again. Highly satisfied!

Installers were very prompt in starting the job in the morning. Work was done efficiently. Installers cleaned up at the end of each day. The new windows are working well and are a huge improvement over the old ones. Owner Tony Bark is very responsive to any questions or concerns.
