He drove here and looked over the roof to give us a bid. We hired him and waited for the shingles to arrive. He took care of the necessary permit and clarified local regulations regarding wooden shingles. Once he started, the entire job took about 31/2 days. He did the work with one helper. They arrived each day by 7:20 AM and worked until at least 4:30. The work was very nicely done. He removed all the old shingles and left the site very clean at the end of the job. He also suggested the use of a metallic strip to inhibit moss growth on the new shingles.
