If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 STAR review I totally would!!!!!! This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with! We had some work done a couple of months ago. The job was suppose to take a day-ended up taking 2 WEEKS! My son had to rearrange his whole schedule, missed out on work, the contractors wouldn’t show up for days or they were late by hours, they would just leave and say the job was complete (and it wasn’t even half done!), we have tried calling to discuss and the receptionists are all trained to say the managers and owners are in ‘meetings’, we’ve sent emails and left messages and not once received a call back or reply to our emails! We are beyond frustrated! Then they send a bill 2 mos later for the full amount when they didn’t complete the job and they won’t even listen to the issues we have with paying this bill because the company has such terrible communication! I’m not even sure the owners are aware of how the business is being run at this point! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

sons friend had them come over to check flickering lights in basement. the quote cost my young female friend about $80.00. nothing fixed. set quote for about $1,800.00 for all new light switches in basement and redo or up date service panel. She had different electrician come and 2 wirenut connectors and a switch later no problems. panel was checked, old but working fine. Another friend had them check AC, were told new unit $3,400.00 needed, turns out contactor was only problem and just cost less than $300.00. Not a fan and warning my family.

Terrible company!!! Think twice before hiring this company! My furnace went out during Christmas and they charged me emergency fee which was fine because of the holidays but they charged me $400 and misdiagnosed the problem and left me without heat on Christmas and on top of that my water pipes froze. The person they had come out was watching YouTube videos trying to figure out the problem and pretty sure he hooked up new transformer wrong but now I sit here with no heat, no water and no money since I spent it on this company hoping they could fix my heater.

Horrible. Technician came to look at the 8-year old unit that was flagged for a AC coil leak. BH's follow up quote was for a brand new external AC unit. After the $1500 "Managers Discount" the quote was for $2,795+. Second opinion from another company: cleaned out a clogged AC hose for the service call price of $83. Will NEVER call Black-Haak and will be sure to tell co-workers and friends about my experience.

Initially we need the ignitor replaced on the furnace and as far as I know that work was done right. (We later found out that we were extremely over charged) The service technician let me know at that time my furnace was in need of a cleaning but really we needed to think about replacing it. A couple weeks later the tech came back over to clean the furnace. At that time he noticed a small amount of water on the ground. He told me that the vent motor was leaking and it was leaking onto the circuit board. He told me now it's not a matter of if my furnace will go out but when. With the previous sales pitch from the Techs last visit and now this I was completely trusting and convinced I needed my furnace replaced. He called his manager to stop over to be able to give me quotes. The manager came over to inspect the furnace and repeated what the technician said was wrong with the furnace. He gave me quotes on three different furnaces. He didn't explain the difference between the three options. The quote was $3,000-$6,000. Trusting this company I was completely ready to write a check for a new furnace. Assuming we'd go with Black Haak we did decide it would be smart to get another quote on a new furnace. Thankfully we did!! Turned out we do not need a new furnace. We were told our furnace was in perfect working condition. The leak was caused by a crack in the condensation collection box. They also told us there is no sign of water on the circuit board and said that our furnace was not cleaned. They then quoted us around $100 to replace the condensation collection box but we fixed it ourselves for about $50. I can not help but feel completely scammed by black haak. We will never work with them again.

Work was done as expected at a reasonable price. Their customer service is wonderful and they keep you notified of the appointment and exact time they will arrive.

I was disappointed they charge a "response fee" of $79.95. That alone will deter me from contacting them again. I had coolant or refrigeration or whatever you wanted to call it added. That basically fixed my problem. I was then told I should schedule a cleaning of the unit($130 service)...and if I did so, I would get 20% off the service done that day. That felt like a scam. I am not a fan of up-selling. It always makes me question the validity of the additional service...do I really need it? Needless to say, I did some research and found out I should be having my air conditioning unit cleaned yearly. So I don't feel so bad about paying $130 UP FRONT for a service that I probably should be doing. But that isn't how it was presented to me and again made the need for the cleaning service feel questionable.

Installed new furnace, came back and checked and made a few adjustments. How great not to worry all winter about it. It is quiet and heats nice. Fair price. Always pleased with these guys. Will use again.

I got a call asking if the tech could start work early, which was great! The tech put on booties because of the rain. He did a great job cleaning and figuring out what was wrong with the fireplace. He managed to get it running and showed me how it worked. All in all, great job, pleasant tech and affordable price.

I think the big deal service from Black-Haak Heating was fine. It has been a while. I guess it was fine. My husband made the appointment and he took care of it all. It was fine. I think the big deal price pretty much covered it, I don't think we had to give anything extra. I think he said that they were on time and they were very friendly. They identified themselves as to who they are and what they are there for.

From our very first contact they were great!  This is probably one of the most professional service providers I have ever worked with.  They scheduled our appointments and service, they showed up on time, they were polite and respectful of our home.  Amazing company!

Great company, everything went well.

It turned out quite well actually. I was pleased with their service and the whole thing I thought was well worth the money I paid and I like it. I'll use them again probably. I haven't called them right away but once I just set the schedule, it was just like a week and it fits my schedule and theirs too.

It went great.  Took time to explain what he was doing.  Very thorough.
