SECURITY-PLUS LOCKSMITH SERVICE

Friendly over the phone. I was given price and time frame before locksmith arrived. The locksmith arrived timely. It only took about 5 minutes to open my vehicle. I was happy with the service. Would definitely hire again.

I managed to lock my Caravan keys into my car.  Not sure if I even did
it, or my little ones.  Regardless, it was locked and I didn't have a
spare key. 
I called Tim and one other provider and Tim was cheaper by $10+.  He arrived promptly, got to work right away and opened my door within minutes.
Prompt, fast work, friendly and reasonable pricing.  While calling a locksmith usually isn't for a great reason, if I had to have it occur, I'm glad that Tim was the one to help me out!

My father-in law locked his keys in his trunk.  We couldn't get a key made on a Saturday so we had to either call my brother-in-law to drive two hours to bring a key or call a local locksmith.  We called only this one company after he quoted us $50 because that seemed fair and about the same as round trip gas for my brother.
The locksmith arrived and started by unlocking the driver door, after he gained entry to the cabin he pushed the trunk release but it didn't open because of the security settings.It took him the next two hours to get in to the trunk. After finally getting in to the trunk he stated that he was going to give my father a discount and only charge $100 instead of $250 based on his hourly rate.  I in turn questioned this price because we already agreed to $50.  He said it's either that or I call the cops.  My father-in-law said "let's make a deal".
This guy then said "All you Indians are all the same it 's always let's make a deal.  You know what? because of this I am just going to put a lien on your car, take you to court for the full $250, and I'm not going to deal with you Indians anymore!" This is really insulting, not to mention it now would have been cheaper and faster to call my brother-in-law.  Also, I would have been able to see a family member.  
So for him to be this way just because he is not a very good locksmith (two hours to get in to a trunk) is not ok at all 
So, we were no longer in the mood to cooperate by overpaying so we let him call the cops.  When they came they were sympathetic to our situation and not at all to his.  However in an effort to not waste anymore of our precious time we agreed to pay his inflated price of $100 to be done with it once and for all. 

They are fantastic. They are just top notch. I used them many times. I always go to them. They'll come out when you're locked out. They make excellent keys too. They know the history of the neighborhood. When they make keys, they set the locks. Their keys are just excellent. The quality is excellent, and the price is excellent. They're friendly too.

My mother lived in an older home and she had rarely locked the doors because she was housebound.  When I came in, I could not get the doors to lock or unlock properly.  I called Security-Plus and they set up an appointment immediately with me for the same day.  The service technician called 10 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was coming.  He arrived promptly and got right to work. It turns out that the locks on both outside doors where quite old - from the 1960s and 1970s.  The service technician was able to get both locks working properly and smoothly within an hour.  He seemed very knowledgeable and although it was a more difficult job than either of us had anticipated, his demeanor remained friendly yet professional. He cleaned up all the areas in worked in and made sure I knew what he had done and how to work each lock properly.  He double checked his work before he left.  I will definitely use Security Plus again.

Our front door lock broke late on a Friday afternoon and we could not use the door. After another locksmith we called was too busy to come, Tim Boyea of Security Plus promisted to come after finishing with a customer. He did come, after 5:30PM and replaced the broken internal mechanism without needing to re-key the lock. This was important to us, as the key is used for more than one door. We were very satisfied with his work, his explanations of what may have caused the problem, and the obvious skill he had--it did not take him too long, yet he was personable and didn't rush. He went out of his way to help us late in the day on a Friday, and charged us very little.

He repaired it and also fixed another lock that had not worked from the outside for quite a while.

I would definately use them again for any Locksmith needs. They are one of the few on the list that were willing to drive to Racine to do the job. Any Todd was very professional, flexible, and completed the job for a very solid price. I would not think twice about using the company again.

I was having difficulty inserting and removing the key from the outside of my deadbolt door lock. I took the lock out and brought it to Security-Plus. After verifying the problem, the lock was sprayed with a lubricant and it worked fine. It only took a few minutes, but I expected to pay something. I was told there would be no charge.

These guys are amazing. Don't let the cruddy-looking "house" storefront deter you- these guys are priced right, they're fast, and they'd very good at what they do. Today, I had two locks rekeyed, and more extra keys made. The whole thing took about 10 minutes and was done while I waited. The guy was very friendly and helpful with answers to questions I had. While I would have expected this to cost me about $30- the total bill was $17. Amazing. A few years ago, I went in to have a key remade for a cylinder that came from our 70-year-old front door. While they couldn't re-make the key, they were able to dig out a really old cylinder that was the same thread style- and rekeyed it to two other new matching locks that I had. I was thrilled- for the first time in YEARS had one key that opened all my doors. A hint for those of you considering new locks for your house and having them rekeyed: SCHLAGE. Best consumer locks on market, easy for locksmiths to work with.

The work was done by the owner of the company while I waited. It took about a half hour. He did an excellent job. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he charged me only $39.

Said they would be at house to open car and were there as promised. Did work very quickly and at a very fair price.

THE OWNER IS VERY NICE AND ONE OF THE BEST AROUND, HE IS ALSO VERY REASONABLE. MY HUSBAND ONLY TRUST THINGS SUCH AS CAR KEYS TO HIM.
