I was very pleased with the install experience. Having never had hard-wood flooring installed before, I was not sure what to expect. They carefully sorted through the material and set aside anything that had pits or defects. They installed the hardwood (3/4" hand-scraped oak), approx 440 square feet in an entry-way, hall, kitchen, bath, and two closets on my main floor. Day 1: The crew of three (Ryan-Owner, Aaron, and Ed) installed all the hardwood on day 1 in about 9 hours. I really appreciated the attention to detail, and the fact that Ryan did ask questions when he had any concerns. He was also approachable and accommodating when I suggested an alternative for an oversize vent cover. We did have some oversights by the person ordering the materials (missing transition strips), but Ryan told me exactly how he could finish his install and leave the option for installing the three transition strips at a later time. He moved the appliances into the garage, removed and reinstalled the toilet. At the end of Day 1, they prepared the laundry room for installation of sheet vinyl the next day. They cleaned up all the tools from the front yard and you can't tell they were even there. Day 2: Aaron and Ed arrived shortly after 8am for the vinyl install, again, right on time. Ryan came shortly after and said that not enough vinyl had been ordered to install with the pattern going east-west. He said he would order more material but I approved install with pattern going north-south with a seam in a low-traffic area. The seam was matched very well from the vinyl. If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there! All in all, I am very satisfied with the installation of the products. Nice, respectful, hard-working team and a pleasure to work with. When I do my next flooring purchase, I will certainly ask for RB Flooring to get the install. Thank you!

Ryan's start and finish dates were spot on, the price he quoted was the price he charged - no hidden agenda working with him. Ryan was the second contractor we contacted. The first did not show up for the appointment. Ryan came out within a couple of hours to assess the situation and determined we needed additional flooring product to complete the repair. Luckily, the supplier he uses for product is the same one we originally used when we had the floor installed. He arranged for the supplies and sent one of his employees to do the work the very next week. We were very grateful he could fit us into the schedule and are extremely satisfied with the work done. We will call him the next time we need flooring installed.

My initial impression of RB Flooring was very positive because of the prompt and professional communication with Ryan.  He called when he said he would, provided an email estimate hours before he said he would, called several times to update us on the status of our project. Ryan was on site at the beginning and end of the project - 3 day installation.  He told us about a potential problem with the quality of the material that we had special ordered, and we worked with the vendor to address the issue.  During that time Ryan and his crew waited patiently until we gave them the "on ahead" to install the flooring.  The crew arrived on time or a little early each day.  They adjusted the work schedule a bit to accommodate our need to leave early on the middle afternoon.  The work areas were well cleaned when the project was finished.  I would highly recommend RB Flooring, Inc, and we plan to use them in the future as needed.

RB Flooring did a nice job installing a cork floating floor in our kitchen.  The owner provided a prompt quote and accurately calculated the amount of flooring product we needed to purchase.  Our kitchen has a number of door jams and tricky areas and the crew did a great job of managing these issues.  There are small gaps where the planks meet in a few places, but the floor looks great overall.  The job took longer than expected, but the crew stayed to finish the job and the owner honored the original quote.  The owner also came back the next day and fixed a problem that we noticed.  The only issue we had was that the crew had to cut the planks inside due to very cold weather.  They did a basic job of cleaning up, but left quite a bit of sawdust that we had to clean afterwards.  I would use RB Flooring again.

RB Flooring is very professional, clean and timely.  Explained the process in detail and provided the work exactly as described.  Would hire again. A+ company.

I contacted RB Flooring after Home Depot said they did not want the work because they could not guarantee their installers work due to an uneven floor.  The concrete floor was put in the house when first built in the 1920's, so yes, there were some issues of the floor not being level.  Because the room was to be used as a workshop and I understood the issues due to the age of the house, I was prepared nor expecting the floor to be perfect when the work was done.  Since Home Depot was not interested in doing the work I was forced to look on my own for another installer to do the work.

I searched AngiesList and found RB Flooring on page 5 or 6 of the Flooring Section.  Since others had written very good ratings and sounded from that  RB Flooring did good work at a fair price I called the number and left a message.  Within a few hours I got a call back from Ryan who said he would like to take a look at the project.  We set a date and Ryan showed up as scheduled.  I explained the background and experience I had with Home Depot and he was up front with me in saying he could do the work but it would not come out perfectly flat because of the leveling issues.  My only recourse was to take another approach which would cost several extra hundred dollars.  As it was only a basement workshop, I said I would like the best job for the least price.  Ryan quoted me a price of $500 to include materials.  I agreed.

Ryan showed up as scheduled on installation date.  (The week before Ryan called to ask if he could have access to the basement so as to put on the first layer of leveler so as to it time to dry before installing the flooring- I agreed.)

On the installation day, again Ryan showed up at the time scheduled did the work in a timely and professional manner. The actual project took about four hours.  He went over with me the issues in the flooring before completing it to once again get my agreement and confirmation. 

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the outcome of the final project as it turned out to my complete satisfaction.  It also was exactly as greed to regarding price as well.   I would therefore hire RB Flooring again for any future flooring needs I had,

My wife had noticed some water drips down in the basement so I took a look with a flashlight.  I was surprised to discover that the sub floor underneath the powder room toilet was rotted away.  Apparently during construction of our home the PVC pipe connecting to the toilet had never been supported with cross beams.  Even though the screws surrounding the metal ring went into the subfloor; the result was the heavy pipe dangling from the toilet had over time weakened the wax ring creating the leak.  I called Ryan and he got back to me right away.  I was very pleased he could work me in within a couple weeks.  He came over to take a look and provide an estimate.  He was very forthright in telling me I would have to replace the laminate.  Since we didn't have any remaining laminate to use, we said we'd research online.  He recommended a vinyl instead and we found one style that matched the laminate we had in the kitchen and hallway.  He showed up as promised on the 1st and immediately got to work.  It's apparent he's a no nonsense kind of a guy.  I thought the job might take the better part of a day, but Ryan was done by noon.  He expertly cut away the rotted sub floor and replaced with new wood.  In addition, he installed a 1/4 inch sub floor on top of the existing sub floor to bring the floor back to the same height as the laminate.  That was a nice touch I wouldn't have thought of.  He brought along the vinyl we had decided on and installed it in the bathroom.  After he reinstalled the trim I couldn't tell the difference between the vinyl and laminate.  He recommended a plumber he uses who came over and leveled the toilet (guess floor wasn't level) and installed the small cross beams to support the PVC pipe.  His work was excellent as well.  All in all, we were very pleased with the quality of work, his no nonsense approach and work ethic.  Price was outstanding for the work that was done.

Owner Ryan came out and measured floor. He let me go to a local store and purchase the type I wanted. Ryan actually picked up my flooring for me and two days later two great workers showed up right on time and two hours later I had a new floor laid In my breezway. Ryan the owner was great and explained everything to me. The two workers who did the work were very respectful and did an amazing job. I would recommend RB Flooring to anyone. For anyone considering a floor install this would be a company to consider.

I own a restoration company based in Saukville, WI.  The name of the company is called Magic Touch.  We do a decent amount of full water damage claims.  We have worked with RB Flooring for 2 years now.  We have customers from all different ranges of income and areas.  RB Flooring Inc. has great attention to detail, gets the job done in a very timely fashion, and is always there when they say they will be.  I haven't had any issues in 2 years of doing business with Ryan and his crews.  We have had some picky customers over the years and RB Flooring always ends up pleasing my customers with a job well done.  I don't even think of calling or contacting another company to give my work to.  They are priced very fairly compared to other competitors in the market, but the main reason we stick with them is because of their promptness, ad quality of work.

Set up an estimate with Ryan the owner and we discussed the whole project.  He showed up with some samples close to what we discussed over the phone.  I picked out the materials, he then same day sent over the estimate via email.  The materials I chose they had in stock and the job was done within a weeks time from the estimate date.  Doesn't get much smoother.  My floors look beautiful and I come home to a job well done with no issues.
