About us
My name is Bill. I'm a 3rd generation contractor and have been doing this for over 30 years. Since I opened Emally's Construction, I have been driven by the knowledge and principles passed down to me by my father and grandfather. Even though the products and technology have changed over the years, the people haven't. Homeowners still want an honest company that does quality work for a reasonable price. This is what we pride ourselves on. If you call for an estimate I'm the person you'll talk to. You get me every time. I have a full crew of talented people that have been with me for years. What I don't have is a salesman. At no point do I want to sell you anything. It's my job to inform you and arm you with knowledge so that you can make the proper decision that's best for you. This is an old school idea that I believe is missing in today's construction world. This means no empty promises. We put a plan together and I make sure it happens the way it's supposed to.

"I signed a contract with Matt M in January 2022 (3 years ago) and received a post dated deposit check. Matt explained his loan for the project was a sure thing he was just waiting on his loan closing date. Because of this he was not able to give us an exact time frame to start the job. I informed him the contract was good for 1 year and he could start whenever he wanted in that year, which he agreed to. When we got closer to the deadline I called and talked to Matt he informed me he had the loan now and was ready to start. We then started the design work and scheduling with my teams. Each team in turn gets their deposits to ensure they'll be able to follow the schedule I've set. Meaning I spent time and money to start the project. Right before we were ready to start the demo of the project Matt informed me he had never gotten the loan and had no way of paying. I then told him I'd give him an additional year to figure it out. He was informed and accepted that if he didn't start the job in that additional year he'd lose his deposit. I then tried repeatedly to call him and I never got an answer. I now believe that Matt had lost his law license and went to jail during this time which is why I never could get a hold of him. The story is on youtube [link removed] It seems he's a very nasty guy. On February 4th 2025 (3 years later) I received a letter out of the blue from Matt demanding his deposit back. He demanded I only discuss this over email. I emailed him that same day and even though I didn't have to, I offered to still complete the project. Also even though prices have changed drastically over the last 3 years I told him I'd do it for the same price as the original contract and his deposit would be used for that project. I have gotten no response from him."
"It's a shame that almost 4 years have gone by since you signed up and you're still this angry. As far as your project we tried everything we could to deal with the complexities of your requests and the personality conflicts we had. When we realized how chaotic your house was we just used patience and communication to get by. When we had a client who could not make a decision without changing their mind almost daily we came up with a daily sign off sheet to focus on each item until you guys could come to a decision and stick to it. Even going as far as installing and reinstalling products multiple times. When my workers were informing me you were trying to convince them to do side projects in secret for cheaper. Projects you had already signed contracts with me for, we pushed on. You didn't seem to care that they would lose their job for this or that you would have breached contracts with me. When the verbal abuse began because we were disrupting sleeping patterns, we pushed on. Once again we pushed on trying to complete the project by working through ignoring all of these things. But frankly when the physical abuse started I could not ignore that and yes pushing people out of the way and ripping things out of peoples hands is physical abuse. This could not be ignored so I canceled the contract on future work and we agreed to pay for you to have someone come finish the work that was left in the project. If we had finished the project we would have repaired any damages to anything and also made sure everything was finished properly. Simply put you would have had nothing to complain about because we don't leave a job until the homeowner is completely satisfied. As far as your work complaints here you should have pointed them in the direction of the guy who completed the project not us."
