They have looked after my car for many years. The service, the price, the whole nine yards. Everything you expect from a dealer you are going to get from Mike. He provides honest, good work. What more can you ask for?

His prices are right and he does quality work. We have been trusting him with our automotive work for over ten years

I have taken my car there many times. They do general things. They do what you want and don't push to do other things. You have to call them sometimes to see if your car is ready because they are fairly busy. They are self made, it is not a big corporation.

My mom was driving to Milwaukee from northwest Iowa and when she got off the interstate her vehicle had lost all braking power. I called Dave's and made an appointment for 8:00am the next day (Saturday). Having never used an auto shop in Milwaukee I chose Dave's because of it's proximity to my house (half mile) and ratings on Angie's List. We arrived shortly before 8am and were second in line behind an old timer who had work done there all the time. When we talked to the service manager he had lost our appointment. OK. We explained the problem to him and he said he'd call when the vehicle was ready. We went back to the house and returned to the shop around noon. The car had been fixed. Apparently one of the vacuum hoses that ties in to the braking system had failed. Voila, 1.5 hours of labor and a $3 part came out to just over $100.

Overall, I was pleased with the work they did and the price seemed reasonable for a shop that employs ASE certified technicians. I was a little disappointed by the responsiveness but it was Saturday morning. I would definitely use them again for work I can't perform in my own garage.

The battery replacement is a small thing but I've had Dave's do all of my automobile maintenance and repairs for over ten years. They've always done a good job regardless of the size of the job and are honest and reasonable in their charges. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was happy with the experience and felt that they were honest with me with respect to the work that needed to be done and the work that didn't need to be done. I just waited for the work to be completed. The waiting room is smaller, but clean. Since it was a nice day, I sat outside at the picnic table and read. I would take my car to them again.

The experiences we have had at this place have all been very good. The last time we were there, we had to wait for a part to come in-but other than that, we have always gotten our car back very quickly. The waiting area is not the neatest place in the world, but comfortable enough.

I had been having a problem with my 2002 Saturn steering fluid disappearing and I did not have an extended warranty so I felt I did not have to go to the dealer. Dave's Garage found the problem and promptly called to explain the cost and the time it would take to repair the problem. Their work is always done in a timely manner and if they find a different problem, they quickly call to keep me informed. The owner, Mike Gappa, and his entire staff are friendly and very nice to deal with. My husband and I have done our business there for years and I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
