We had been looking to update our kitchen and had been holding off due to the extremely high estimates we had received. We were actually having A Teska come and quote the rebuilding of our garage, but after some conversation, we ended up in our kitchen, discussing a remodel. He quoted us half of what others had and we quickly changed our focus from the garage to the kitchen. Aaron directed us to his preferred vendors/suppliers that were cost effective, but still high quality. Once the project began, we came home each day to considerable progress being made. The total turnaround time of the job was approximately twelve days. It’s clear that he pays attention to the details and takes pride in the work he does. We are extremely happy with the end result and love our new kitchen.

 

My house is small, but it's the home I grew up in. My dream was always to remodel the house and add an addition to my kitchen so that I could have my son's and their families over and we could sit at the table all together.
  A.Teska Construction has made my dream come true.  Aaron sat down with me and I explained everything I wanted in detail. He made sure he installed the best windows, french doors that open to my future deck, with a three point locking system on the french doors for more security. He made the perfect suggestion as to the color of siding and trim, which I love. He even met me at the home improvement store to find the shingles I saw on someone else's house, even though he was terribly busy.  His team of workers were very professional and did excellent work and were very friendly and respectful.
I know I'm leaving out many other details to my project, and I'm sorry for that, but in a nut shell, I'm so pleased, that I'm going to have him come back and replace the rest of my windows, trim and gutters and the roof on my garage,in the summer. I'm also in the future, going to have him open the wall that exists between my kitchen and living room.
I highly recommend A. Teska Construction to anyone who wants a beautiful job done.

Absolutely fantastic experience.  Aaron was upfront about all of the aspects of our project including costs, potential problems, and time table.  He worked with our schedule as we left to go on vacation for three weeks during the beginning stages of our build and we came back to a nearly completed project.  It just says a lot about the professionalism of an individual to know that I can be half way around the world and have peace of mind that what was agreed upon before I left was being executed as planned while I was away especially considering I could not be contacted.

Even after having been satisfied for 3 months now, we had a slight issue with our service door not closing properly.  Aaron came our within a day or two and fixed it no questions asked.

He was a pleasure to work with and I will certainly be in contact with him in the future when a project arises.

The job went well. 
Aaron (the builder) was very easy to work with.  He was very helpful throughout the project.  The job was well planned out with the
crew working on replacing the siding on the house while the foundation and slab for the garage were being poured.  There was no down time once the job was started. 
We are very happy with the quality of the work.

For a few years I have been getting quotes for the best method to provide a patio cover over our existing large L shaped patio on the back of or home. I have first gotten quotes on retractable awnings and aluminum patio covers which ranged in cost from $4000- $11,000 but did not even cover the entire patio due to the L shape. I was about to give up on the idea when my wife suggested Teska Construction. Aaron Teska had happened to move into my neighborhood and was rehabbing the very dilapidated house he purchased. We were able to witness the transformation of what was as eye sore into a nice looking home. I had not talked to any remodelers for this project because I did not think the cost would be in the range I was willing to pay. I saw Teska Construction was on Angies list and had good reviews so I called Aaron to get a quote. After looking at the L shaped patio Aaron suggested extending my existing roofline on my house to cover the entire L shaped patio. He said when completed the patio cover would look like it was part of the original home design. My wife and I really like that idea but we were thinking the cost would be out of or budget. The estimate came in at $7800 dollars which was less expensive than some of the previous estimates that did not even cover the whole patio. So we went with Teska construction and had a very satisfying experience. The project took about 6 days to be completed but part of that time was waiting for the city inspectors to come. Aaron and his team was very professional and very hard working. I had many conversations with Aaron during the construction process and can tell you he is very fussy about his work. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of remodeling and is on every job himself working alongside his team. Aaron was very reachable by phone. Even when I could not reach him directly I don?t think I waited longer than a half hour for him to get back to me. Aaron made sure my project got into his work que even though there were delays due to the city of Milwaukee permit process and our subdivision covenant. I really appreciated that since our project was small compared to most remodeling projects. We are very happy with the looks of our new patio cover and as Aaron said it does look like it was part of the original house design which is a major plus compared to how the aluminum patio cover would have looked. I would recommend Teska Construction to anyone and would use them again.

Teska provided useful advice in the planning stage and kept me informed during the procedure.  His crews (demolition and removal, concrete, carpentry, electrical) were all very professional.

Aaron, the owner and general contractor, is extremely professional and pays great attention to details. We were very impressed with him starting with the first phone call through the final product. They are a smaller company which means Aaron was present and took responsibIlity for the entire process. Before hiring Aaron, we contacted two more prominent garage builders in the Milwaukee area. One never returned my calls and the second was clearly selling an inferior product for the same cost if not more. The work was done on time with good communication, and most of all was done right the first time around. The whole process was quite easy. Aaron clearly takes pride in his work and it shows. This was a big purchase and decision for us but we have no regrets, and are extremely happy with our new garage. We would highly recommend A Teska and have already done so to friends.

A. Teska Construction is top-notch. Super responsive and punctual. Aaron provided us with all of the information we asked for and more. Aaron also made sure everything was done to building code. His team was polite and professional and got the job done on time and on budget. We'd highly recommend him to others and will be using him again on future projects. 

Everything flew by, really. Inside of 30 days, (total working days) we went from a 720 sq. ft 2 bed, 1 bath cottage to a 1480 sq. ft 2 bedroom (and 3rd if we desire) 2 full bath home, which was amazing. We lived in the house during the renovation, which wasn't horrible, just a lot of dust and insulation. Progress was impressive, and we were always amazed with what got done day by day. The owner, Aaron, had some cool suggestions on how to utilize otherwise wasted space, like a shelf in our bedroom above the closet and bathroom instead of just running the walls up higher to the vaulted ceilings.  There are switched outlets above the shelf to accommodate mood lights or lamps, too! Also, the living room has 2 skylights that allow more light in due to Aaron enlarging the openings beyond the typical 90 degree openings. (More work for drywall, hence less common! But A.Teska took care of the difficult drywall work, so good for us!) I did the math, and our 20x12 sunroom/living room (possible 3rd bedroom) has an astounding 154 sq feet of window space, which required some tricky framing, I think. Also, we LOVE our tile in our new bathroom, it's very luxurious considering the budget we were working with! There were some unforeseen issues along the way, but Aaron kept us very up to date on projected and unforeseen problems, and worked with us to come to affordable solutions. (Like our electrical meter/mast needing to be removed, and electrical buried) Overall, we are very satisfied and thankful for everything that was done!

A. Teska completed work in a timely manner. Offered many great ideas as to the design the bathroom. The quality of the work was great. Love my new bathroom, right it is the best looking room in the house.

After pricing out 5 different contractors, we were close to deciding on one based on his price, but decided to contact one more for another estimate. Boy were we glad we did! Aaron, the owner, came to our home and made us feel truly involved in the planning process! He listened to our ideas, and was even able to provide some additional options for our limited space that we had not thought of, and that the other contractors had not mentioned! We could tell he knew his stuff! After talking it over, we decided to use Aaron. Work was to be started in 30 days, as he had another project at the time, but Aaron was able to start a earlier than originally discussed, which was great for us. He was on site every day, just as he promised, and was open to our changing ideas! The work was done in a professional and efficient manor. We saw our outdated kitchen transformed into a usable and comfortable space, right before our eyes! He was able to open the kitchen up into the detached dining room by removing a wall, providing us with a half wall, breakfast nook with bar stools, and additional cabinet space. We love it! The installation of our new cabinets was done with care, and not a scratch was found, much to the relief of my wife! The tile work in the kitchen and bathroom drew compliments from all of our guests, and cleanup was a breeze! We had him update our 3/4 bath with a new shower, appliances, and tile work, which really rejuvenated the space. Everything was done in-house, we didn't have to worry about a thing, which was really the best part.
Sadly, we recently sold that house in order to move closer to work. Our new home will be receiving a first floor addition, as well as a second floor master suite, and we will definitely be calling A.Teska Construction to get the next job done.

He is on time and honest. His work is good and he remains professional on the job. He is a great guy to work with which shows because he his here for the second time.

I had A.
