THE PLUMBING DOCTOR

Steve was great. When our very old water heater suddenly stopped working, I called at 4 PM and he was at the house by 10 AM the next morning. He found the problem in an old switch that had blocked electricity to the heater and was able to make the repair quickly and cheaply. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He could have easily told us that we needed to replace the unit but didn't. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing or repairs.

The plumber didn't bring along all the tools needed for the job so he had to borrow some of mine. They did a poor job of patching concrete floor. They didn't have a means for hauling off old concrete, so I had to use my SUV. Quality of work on exposed plumbing was marginal, even though it passed city inspection (crooked pipes, sloppy welds, etc.). The plumber had to make second trip to finish job on upstairs dishwasher because I didn't have the special tools he needed. On return, he again forgot several tools at another site and had to use mine again. The first time we ran the dishwasher, it drained onto the floor instead of down the drain. He came out promptly to fix the problem but admitted he never tested it to make sure the dishwasher was draining properly. He added he NEVER did testing of dishwasher hookups because he didn't see any need for it. When I suggested he reduce the price for the aggravation, cleanup and tool rental, he quickly became antagonistic.

I had one problem with this company. The service was good, but he kept trying to get me to have other work done and spend more money.

HE WAS VERY NICE, CALLED BECAUSE HE WAS RUNNING A LITTLE LATE AND GAVE US A DISCOUNT BECAUSE WE LIVE IN THE SAME COMMUNITY(GREENDALE).

THE PLUMBING DOCTOR WAS PROMPT AND RELIABLE. THE PROBLEM WE ENCOUNTERED INVOLVED A REFERRAL MADE BY THE PLUMBING DOCTOR. BY NECESSITY OUR REPAIR INVOLVED PLUMBING, TILE WORK, AND DRYWALLING. THE PLUMBING DOCTOR REPAIRED THE LEAKS AND ENCOURAGED US TO USE ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TO REPAIR THE TILE AND DRYWALL. THAT CONTRACTOR WAS A DISASTER, WHO TOOK SHORTCUTS AND PERFORMED SHODDY WORK. IN THE END, THAT WORK HAD TO BE CORRECTED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE WE ACHIEVED AN ACCEPTABLE RESULT.
