Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
I had this guy come by for a quote. He quoted me $450 to repair roof. After his bank issues and no reply back? I called left a msg to cancel job. He showed up unannounced and made repairs without any explanation as to what he did. Roof continued to leak so I had to get roof completely redone (15k) by another company. Never heard from him again until he sent new invoice which was now $250 giving what he called a $200 discount. I took pictures of what he did which was basically a tube of asphalt caulk over exposed nails and areas. In my head? maybe $50 worth of service. I will write the check this week to close this account but will not be using Angi again thanks for nothing.

"I did not receive a message to cancel the contract, what number did you contact, i would like to see a copy of this message Also, last year you called us, on 9/11/2022 you called us and we came out there shortly after we spoke so we could look at your roof leak. For OVER A YEAR you let this leak go, you again contacted us on 9/27/2023 to which we came out again, and recommenced you replace the roof for the second time but you did not go with that option. I have the estimate to prove it from last year. What we agreed to was a roof maintenance package which i said might stop the leak, but i also said i could not guarantee the fix of the leak because i knew i was out last year (at this location) and you had a leak and i knew there would be more damage to the roof because you did not get it fixed when you should have: I told you this might fix the leak, if it didn't fix it then the next step is replacement, we agreed to start here. If you want to give a bad review, that is fine, but tell them that this has been leaking for over a year and you did nothing about it, when this happens a roof is very difficult to fix Furthermore, if you cancelled the contract then why didn't you contact me about this to discuss it when you received the invoice instead of leaving bad review. You should have talked to me about this so we could work this out...."

Took the time to explain what else should be done to the balance of the trees. Did not feel pressure to schedule the additional work. Recommended a lawn care vendor also.

We've been hiring Brian for all sorts of various projects for years. Finding/fixing leaks, adding gutter filters, cutting landscape borders, adding mulch, repairing basement leaks. Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
I Had previously hired a company from Home Advisor to do this work. This was new to me. They were hired in Sept, with an expectation to fix my roof before Thanksgiving. It got pushed to before Christmas and then sometime next year. I was fortunate that they refunded my money, therefore, I'm not mentioning the name. I reached out again to Home Advisor and got Brian. It was a couple of days before Christmas and told him of my situation. He not only gave me a good deal on the roof repair, he did the job right after Christmas because he noticed snow was going to come on Sunday. He was prompt, finished the job in a couple of hours. I'm rating 5 because the work looks good, the price was good and he was prompt, polite and caring. My intention is for Brian's work to last a couple of years to allow me time to save up for a full roof repair. So far happy with the peace of mind that the repair was done before damage could happen.

Deck or Porch Repair
Could not have asked for a more hard-working professional deck builder than Brian. He was focused on quality and detail throughout the entire process. He was there every day until the sun went down and kept us updated on every aspect of the job entailed. Started on Nov. 2nd and finished on Nov. 13th and built the deck on his own. He not only did a quality job but was also very personable and showed great pride in his work. We would recommend him to anyone without any reservation. We will definitely use his services in the future. He told us many times that he would not be happy until we were happy with the finished product and we certainly were! Kudos to Brian. Brian and the 414Restore Team did an amazing job on repairing, sanding, and refinishing our deck. While there were some initial issues with the stain not setting properly, I could not be more pleased with how Brian handled it. His professionalism and communication throughout the process was above expectations. He contacted and worked with the Sherwin-Williams expert to look into the issue with the stain and come up with a plan to correct the issue. While the overall project was delayed slightly as a result, Brian kept us updated and provided options for how best to handle. He helped ensure that the final work product was completely finished and that we were satisfied before we would close out the work. We will happily use 414Restore again in the future and would recommend him to anyone. Having worked with many different contractors over the years, I can confidently say that the professionalism, detail, communication, and respect shown was top notch.

Brian helped repair a door on my deceased mother / stepfather's condo and did a great job. It suffered extensive damage due to moving some furniture out. He worked tirelessly and maintained focus and professionalism despite several delays, including reworking the repair under insurance company reimbursement after I originally agreed to pay for repair out of pocket. When a remeasurement needed to be made on the door, Brian did not hesitate to be honest and follow up to make sure the measurement was corrected with a little extra time. I would recommend Brian to anyone in the Milwaukee area needing home repair contracting services without hesitation. Extremely detail oriented, focused, and he CARES!
