Blindauer Sheet Metal & Roofing Inc

We recently purchased our home and when the big spring rain came we had a little bit of leaking around the chimney of our fireplace. Blindauer was recommended to us by another company in town so we gave them a call. Dean came over to look at the problem and to give us an estimate for fixing it. While on the roof he noticed an area where he thought the flashing was improperly installed (roof is less than five yrs. old). He told my husband he would get him an estimate for fixing it, but in the meantime he would put some caulk on it to hold it until the repair could be made. After waiting two weeks for the estimate my husband called back to check on it and was told they would send the estimate right away. The next day we received a bill for the caulking and no estimate. He called Dean this morning and was told that this was a routine service charge for doing the caulking and that someone in the office had forgotten to send the estimate.
