Art came over pretty quickly to quote and was good about explaining things. Based on recommendations we had WW and another company quote us out. WW came in slightly lower and felt they were on par with what they were offering. Upon accepting the quote we set up an appointment a few months out. The first appointment was cancelled due to the threat of rain. We scheduled it a week later and the windows were installed in the morning. Pretty seamless, we just had to move things out of the kitchen.
So far the windows have held up and we feel our kitchen has held heat better. They do offer a lifetime warranty. We most likely will use again.
PRICE: It seems to be within fair market range.
Q: We have not had any issues within the first 6 months.
Responsive: No issues. They have a receptionist to call with issues.
PUNCH: No major issues other than having to reschedule the morning of our appointment due to a threat of rain. I wish we would've done so the day before to save a vacation day.
PROFESSIONAL: Definitely a well run company that came with many recommendations.
they took the blinds down and I had to be after them to put the blinds and curtains the way they found them..
A couple of minor complaints...
- They said the install would take one day.
- The first scheduled install had to be re-scheduled because they double booked.
- We were given an arrival window for the second date of 7-9 A.M. Crew showed up about 9:10 and of course could only work until dark.
- They said they were going to come back the next day (Sat) but when they did not show up by 9:15, we called to find out if they were coming. They did show up shortly thereafter but quit after 30 minutes because it was drizzling. It would have been nice had they looked at the weather prior because the day before was a bluebird day. Had they started earlier on the first day, they could have possibly finished.
- They wrapped up the install the following Tuesday.
- The windows look good and the crew cleaned up after themselves nicely. My wife was home for the installs and said they were nice guys and not too intrusive.
Overall, aside from the minor schedule hiccups with the install, I am happy even with that part of the process. A few well timed proactive phone calls to keep us informed of delayed arrival times and they could have eliminated any of the minor heartburn.
As of a week or so later, the windows look good and seem to be doing their job. The house is definately much quieter and there is no doubt that these are an substantial upgrade over the the 30 year old windows that we replaced.
