Excellent. The job was done in cold weather, yet, the crew moved ahead efficiently and cheerfully. Regarding the price, while we did not price shop, the owner of the company gave us several price breaks and with our good experience with his company, we moved ahead.

They came and installed a drain system and dug outside to patch the basement wall and fix the cracks.

They did a good job. They were very courteous, and focused on getting the job done efficiently.

This father and son team are the best!. I live in an older home (57 yrs.) and discovered Smith Construction and Remodeling in 2008 when I had bad leaking of water into my basement laundryroom. I chose the Beaver System as it was more affordable than complete draintile repair and had a good reputation. The company contracted with Smith Construction and a work relationship was born. Since that time I've utilized them for a new deck, privacy fence instillation, repair of foundation wall crack, instillation of downspout "bubblers" ( this is an underground pipe system that channels gutter runoff away from house and pops a heavy plastic bubbler to empty it into the yard - no downspout extenders to move and mow around! ) the summer of 2011. Even with extreme heat and rain they preservered. Part of the fence was put together in my garage during a rainstorm so a work day would not be lost! These two men work quickly and efficiently, my garage was cleaner when they left than when they started( she says with face reddening). The project April 14,2012 was done on a Saturday because a series of rain storms were predicted and John and his dad wanted to make sure the room where the continuation of the Beaver System would stay dry. Not alot of contractors would work a Saturday for a client's convenience. I would highly reccommend this company to anyone needing construction, remodeling, waterproofing, and home repair. I liked them very much. I thought they were very good and nice. I thought their pricing was fair compared to the other two companies I called. They responded to me very quickly. I plan to use them for other repairs in my home.

John and Larry Smith, owners of Smith Construction and Remodeling were complete professionals. I was in Las Vegas, so we communicated via telephone and email. The final work was superior - on time and under budget. Follow up has been consistent and beyond what I've come to expect from other service providers. As usual they did a great job. The deck is great, we love it. He added on some nice touches and talked me thru some things that he knew I would not like and he was dead on - glad he spoke up and said "are you sure you want that" kind of questions. The first project they did for me was a partial basement remodel - I had an office made down there - if is awesome, beautiful wood planking at at my desk, beautiful closest doors. Great job. Only guys I use and trust. Next they will be finishing the basement for me this summer - already lining them up, I just have to save up for it.
